I requested as he smiled. "And they are?" He asked as I took my pawn and placed on the board. "Checkmate. Your king dies." I said as I removed my hand for him to view the battle. I picked up a ruler and had the white king fall to his face as I stared at his player who groaned in another smooth lose. "I believe I should stop playing chess with my fianceé as she is showing me too much of my flaws." He said as I chuckled and threw my hair with a nice flick.

I giggled childishly. His eyes squared. He wasn't going to be easily misled but I was ready for resistance. His face softened and he smiled. That ridiculous annoying smile like he was on top of the world looking down at the rest of us. Well I was about to knock his ass off the throne. "I have an idea sir." I hurried to his side. "How about we play a game of chess?" He sneered. "It's tiresome beating an amateur. Mind you I'm insulting amateurs using that term on you." He yawned as he itched the side of his jaw. "I use it for lack of a better word.

I had faced the tactics of a jealous woman before and every time I thought back on it, I was reminded just how much of a fool I had been.
