THE WOLFLESS LUNA
My voice carried across all three states, overlapping slightly, not broken, but no longer singular.
I inhaled slowly, forcing clarity into a moment that resisted it. If I chose memory, I would know everything, but I would not feel why it mattered. If I chose emotion, I would feel everything, but I would not understand it.
If I chose connection, I stopped there. Because that was different. Connection held both direction and meaning. It was not just feeling. It was not just knowing. It was choosing what mattered and holding onto it.
The realization settled fully.
I did not need all the memories.
