“Oh my Goddess, she is your mate, is she not?” I pressed my lips together, closed my eyes, and exhaled. I had not wanted anyone to know yet. I still had Draven and the council to deal with, and I needed to keep Clara safe. But keeping something like this hidden from everyone around me was nearly impossible, especially when Clara was my mate. “Yes, she is my mate,” I said, lowering my voice so no one else would overhear. Jasmine straightened her shoulders, tugged her shirt higher to cover her chest, and stared at the floor. “Sorry, I did not know. If I had, I would not have … um, switched into your class or, um …”

The last page of the file though, has a picture of Jace's mum and the other person in the photo has part of his head torn, making it hard for us to identify him. "Do you think maybe there are chances of this Clara being Jace's mum?" I mumble staring at the blonde in the picture. How can someone have so many personalities? She is so fake. She obviously has a lot she's hiding from Alpha. Poor man. "We need to find this Jason guy and we will get our answers. I will do everything in my power to serve you and your mum the justice you deserve honey. Whoever these people are, they won't stay in hiding forever" I have never seen the determination in his eyes before.

CLAUDE “NEW HERE?” The guy slid into the seat across from me like we’d been friends for years. His dark curls framed a mischievous grin, green eyes flashing with curiosity. He wasn’t collared, but the confidence in his posture gave him away—another pet. “What gave me away?” I muttered, leaning back, trying not to care. “The tension. It’s written all over you,” he said, smirking. “I’m Jace. Figured you could use a familiar face.”

Swoosh! There was a flicker. Then, a man appeared before James, blocking the aggressor’s path. Wearing a black robe, the man looked about twenty-five years of age. Not only that, but he had a somewhat handsome-looking face. His face darkened as he glared at the middle-aged man and roared, “Get lost!” He was Jace Sterling. Sensing that someone was up to no good, Lucifer said, “If anyone dares harm James, the Hadean Clan shall annihilate his entire sect!”

She was about to tell the girl to breathe and take things easy when Adriella added, “Some people say I sound conceited when I introduce myself like this but I don’t know, I feel it’s safer for them. You know, so they don't offend me and use the ‘I had no idea’ excuse. I feel it’s a good way to introduce oneself, no? It’s easier to avoid quarrels.” Clara could not hold it in any longer. I had so much to tell them, and I wasn't sure how they would react. "Jake, I have something to tell you," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. Jake looked at me curiously, his eyes narrowing slightly. "What is it, Ava?" he asked. I took a deep breath and let it all out. "I've found the owner of my jade necklace," I said. "And it's not just anyone. It's the princess of the Black Moon Pack." Jake's eyes widened in shock, and he looked at me like he couldn't believe what he was hearing. "You're the princess of the Black Moon Pack?" he repeated.

Clara carefully observed her surroundings. She was afraid that she would be discovered by security. She had never been a stalker before. To execute the plan perfectly, she gathered all of Jonathan's information. She wanted to make sure he fell in love with her quickly. Marble will return to her.

Seraphine kindly reminded Jason, "Your approach is completely off, Jason. Did you even bother to find out who actually won the GDA before showing up here?" Upon hearing that, Jason arrogantly retorted, "What's that supposed to mean, Seraphine? You ought to know that in the whole of Jeriton, Clary is the only one worthy of winning first place—the GDA is definitely hers! You'll see what sort of woman is truly worthy of marrying Cliff!" He then pointed at Clarissa, saying, "It takes a brilliant talent like Clary to be worthy of Cliff! Clary is Cliff's true love! Who do you think you are, Seraphine?"
