Chapter 21 Titan's pov I still found it hard to believe that my mum was back. “Nngh.” The man standing at my front grunted as he took a few steps back. I stood in the middle of the training ground with my men around me as I sparred with the new acting Beta of the pack, Clayton. “Alpha, you are being ruthless today.” He wheezed out in between punches and kicks. “I can't go easy on the acting Beta.” I responded, equally breathless.

“So… it's like he is back to being a beta…” The words are almost whispered, but the chill in my bones says they are not a welcome result. “Fix it.” The command is low and curt. Fix what?
