Thorns & Roses is a coming-of-age story about Leila Adams, a high school student who experiences true friendship, terror, first love, abuse, betrayal and heartbreak while trying to find herself. Verbally abused constantly by her father, her self-esteem plummets drastically and she consequently puts up with a toxic relationship with her crush, Ackleth, and makes some poor decisions about her future. With the help of her best friend, Ella, she is able to fight her demons, dump her toxic boyfriend, get her self-esteem back on track and find true love again.

The events now twisted as Luke tried to weigh his options, to kill Maria and her family of witches or leave them be, imposing danger to society.

The two spend one Sunday reminiscing the past expecting a closure in the end but the wonderful moment they share this time only makes it harder to achieve that closure so Cela has to put a stop to it saying, “Please don't think even for a second that there is still something left or something new to explore after everything that happened or did not happen. This is not a novel. This is reality. We don't get sequels or spin-offs in real life. We just continue. We move forward and that's how we get to the ending."
