My hands were flat on the surface in front of me. Then something inside me broke. Not cracked. Not fractured. Broke. Completely. Catastrophically. Like a dam that had been holding back an ocean for months finally giving way. I stood up and grabbed the edge of the desk. I flipped it. The massive oak structure crashed onto its side and sent papers and maps and pens scattering across the floor. The lamp shattered. Glass exploded across the stone. I grabbed the bookshelf next. Ripped it from the wall. Books rained down around me. Their pages fluttered like wounded birds.

I Felt Like I was in an amazement park but in the worst possible ride ever. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. IF I GET HIT BY ANOTHER BOOK I WILL KILL THAT BOOK AND THEN I WILL BURN IT AND THEN I WILL BURY IT ASHES. As I finished my thoughts I got smacked by another book on my face. I grabbed the book. While eating I noticed a tray in front of me, so I looked to see who it is and haha my luck failed me today. "Can I seat here?" He asked. I looked at him and I smiled. "Of course, I don't own the seat you know," I told him, he sat down then he started eating his spaghetti and burger. We ate in silence and, it's so awkward that's why I ate fast then I left. While I'm walking towards the classroom, I bumped into someone that my books fell down. I quickly knelt and I started picking my books up then someone kicked me in the stomach.

As I stood to leave, Melinda's foot shot out, tripping me. Caught completely off guard, I tumbled to the floor. A glass ornament nearby toppled over, shattering into pieces all around me. Her eyes burned with undisguised malice as she pressed her heel into the back of my hand, driving shards of glass into my palm. The intense pain nearly caused me to lose consciousness. Amidst my agony, Jeffrey's angry voice jolted me back to reality. "Evalyn! How long will you keep up this act? Are you staging this pathetic scene just for money now?"

Ultimately, after leaving two crooked tire tracks baked into the asphalt, the van managed to squeeze into the emergency lane in front of me and run into the sand pit. The front wheels drove straight into the sand. The rear end of the van was raised in the air, and the van finally slowed to a stop at the edge of the pit. White smoke and a pungent, burned smell billowed from the hood. Billy scrambled out of the shattered window, completely covered in blood. He fell to the ground on his knees, gagging a few times, before looking up and meeting my gaze. He froze for a moment. Then, his eyes lit up.

But he couldn’t save the books, hence, all the books got the turf from the paddle of mud water on the road brought in by the rain earlier.
