I lowered my gace, when suddenly I remembered that I talked to her like that. Before I could look down I felt a slap on my other cheek. I held my cheek. "Remember this bitch. Andrew. Is . Mine!. And leave him the fuck alone before I tell him that you have a crush on him". My eyes widened when she said that. How did she even know that I have a crush on Andrew. She must know the shock on my face. When she smirk and said. "Whats wrong?. Are you shocked". "How did you know?".I looked up at her and asked her in a low voice.

Charles’s bloodshot eyes were misty. “Lulu, you have no right to ask for a divorce.” His quivering voice was laced with sadness, as if I was the one in the wrong. I pushed him away and sat up as I asked coolly, “Did you change your cologne?”

Deo thwacked him hard on his abdomen that made his body wheel into the air. BAM! BAM! BAM! A loud crashing sound was made by Max's body smashing the trees he crash into. Also, a cloud of dust was left after he crashed into them. His body just stopped from crashing the trees when it hit the big hard rock.

Why the hell was that? “Crash!” An antique vase fell, it’s shattering deafened my ears and froze my movements, the sound came diagonal from where I was standing but the pillars before me prevented a clear view. One more step and I would be able to see the culprit yet, I didn’t dare move.

*CRUNCH. The sound was different this time. Not the clean impact on a knee, but the sickening, muffled crack of bone breaking under layers of clothing and muscle. He screamed, a high-pitched, inhuman sound of agony, the knife clattering harmlessly to the floor as his arm hung uselessly at a grotesque angle.

This is a planned break-in. Aiming hard and high, putting all I have in me behind my very practised swing, I smack that fucker right in the face with a bone breaking crunch and knock him out cold to the world with a lucky whack. The reverberation as my bat collides and vibrates through the wood and then me, is followed by a satisfied crumpling and thudding of a human body collapsing on impact. I probably broke his face severely and his lack of reaction is a sure sign I did a great job of disabling him and I literally exhale in relief.

Everything happens too fast. Rain’s strong arm wraps around me, his hard body slamming into mine. In one swift movement, he sweeps me off my feet with a force that sends us crashing across the room. The chandelier falls just as I am removed from beneath it, glass shards flying in all directions. My ears rings violently. Goose bumps sprout on my skin at the magnitude of the crash. It was heavy enough to crush me underneath. If Rain had been a second too late, I'd be dead by now, my body shattered into pieces all over the room.
