Their leader’s wife found Deadrei in the woods, he was just a tiny baby back then. The leader knew that this is no ordinary girl for the woods is home to vicious creatures and will not hesitate to devour a baby left unprotected. She was wrapped in a black cloak and is being surrounded by fireflies as if these tiny creatures are protecting her from any harm.

I never feared the monster beneath my bed because I had always been under the impression that werewolves were the only beasts in this world worth fearing. I had never thought, nor could I have imagined some of the creatures within the pages of this book.

One of the boys, the youngest, has some one-eye creature. It's like a dark gooey substance paste, and someone just glued those plastic eyes for arts and crafts. Its round yellow eyes look around frantically. I feel a chill running down my spine, seeing how disgusting it is. "In the Demon Realm, these are called Carcurus; they are low-level creatures that find a victim and stick themself on a host sucking the life force out of them."

Aunt Drucella says, pushing the book in front of me. I stare at the picture in front of me. A creature, built like a man, with the head of a wolf covered in scales with tiny furry hairs sprouting from its hedges. A primate with claws instead of fingers. The kind of beasts humans thought were myths, but in reality, they were all hidden in plain sight. I kept turning the pages like a mad man but couldn't find the creature.
