The Crimson Bond

The Crimson Bond

ILANA. The Blood Moon Festival came five days too early. On the third evening, the moon bathed its eerie, crimson glow over the Nightshade Pack. This was an event rarely experienced and considered by the pack to be a sign from the Moon Goddess, hastening the fate of two destined mates. The pack was in an uproar of joyful frenzy. The whole of the pack square hummed with excitement, as though even the air vibrated in anticipation. I faltered at the door to Rana's small cabin and brushed off invisible lint from the pale blue dress that Rana had lent me for tonight. "Rana, are you sure about this?" I asked, trying to keep the nerves from edging my voice.

COLD STEEL, BLEEDING HEARTS

COLD STEEL, BLEEDING HEARTS

She was in the middle of an ocean. Maya looked at her hand. The word FOLLOW was starting to disappear. The salt water was washing the ink off her skin. She felt lighter as if a heavy weight had been taken off her back. Then she heard a sound. It was not the waves. It was the sound of a heart beating deep under the water. Thump-thump. Thump-thump. The ocean began to glow with a green light. Beneath her she saw letters on the floor of the sea. They were glowing in the dark. CHAPTER 96: THE REVISION.

THE LUNA HE NEVER TRULY KNEW

THE LUNA HE NEVER TRULY KNEW

Was finally beginning. As Elena stared at the crimson eyes in the darkness, they blinked once—and when they opened again, they were not two eyes but dozens, a constellation of burning crimson staring back at her from the treeline, and from their midst emerged a voice she had prayed never to hear again: "The Guardian's oath is dust, little moon. The First Blood is exposed. And the Crimson Court has come to collect." CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO THE ORDER OF THE SILVER MOON

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The message read: DO NOT LET THE CRYSTAL TOUCH THE WATER. Silence. Then another line. THE MONSTER WILL FEEL IT. Thomas immediately gripped the crystal tighter. Then Henry pushed the boat. The vessel slid forward. Into a hidden tunnel beneath the lighthouse. Into darkness. Then the tunnel opened. And suddenly— they were on the ocean. The real ocean. The raging ocean. The storm immediately attacked them. Waves. Rain. Wind. Everything. Yet somehow— the Night Runner kept moving. Smoothly. Almost effortlessly. Like the sea welcomed it.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

The OutCast Luna

The OutCast Luna

We know that the trials of Water will be challenging, but we are ready to dive into the unknown. Lumina leads us to the edge of the ocean, where the waves crash against the shore with a rhythmic melody. "To conquer the trial of Water, you must navigate through the depths and find your way to the heart of the ocean," she explains. "But be cautious, for it is not just water you will encounter but also the creatures that dwell within." Me and Jericho nod, our eyes fixed on the vast expanse before us. We can sense the power of water flowing around us, its energy urging us to take the plunge. Without hesitation, we dive into the ocean, our bodies slicing through the cool currents.

The Crimson Warrior's Bride

The Crimson Warrior's Bride

I could see the Alphas of the Varg and Lupin Packs. Both Alpha Carl and Alpha Lili looked very charismatic. That really got me excited yet nervous. After all, they were very experienced Alphas compared to me. Then, I saw the Bloody Fangs. Most notable was the Crimson Warrior. That infamous warrior was coming here. He still wore his crimson helmet. Nevertheless, I had to admit that there was a strong threatening air around him. In fact, it almost made him on par with Alpha Carl in terms of how dominant his aura was. Not only that, there were other creatures as well. Indeed, there were other creatures. Vampires, mermaids, giants, dwarves, and dragons.

The Lycan King's Affection

The Lycan King's Affection

Only the chilling promise that nothing would be the same after this moment. Trembling, I reached out and clasped her hand. Cold seeped into my flesh instantly. The moment our hands met, a shockwave of violent energy rippled outwards with gale force. I gasped, stunned as the water beneath my feet turned a deep crimson. Spidery lilies burst forth from the bloodied depths, unfurling their vibrant petals around us. I cried out in agony as searing pain tore through me. It was felt in every nerve ending.

TIME TO FALL IN LOVE

TIME TO FALL IN LOVE

[The Weight of the Crown] The bubble of stasis was a fragile, shimmering lie. Inside this pocket of artificial stillness, the water didn’t crush us and the silence didn't scream, but the air was thick with the scent of ozone and the terrifying heat of the Fourth Generation. Jinyan lay heavy against me, his head lolling on my shoulder, his breathing a shallow, hitching ghost of the rhythm I used to know. Above us, the ocean was no longer black; it was a silver web of surveillance, a global Spire that had turned the very sky into a cage.

MARKED BY THE SILENCED WOLF

MARKED BY THE SILENCED WOLF

I said, my eyes fixed on Julian’s flagship. “How?” Thorne asked. “We are wolves, not fish. We cannot swim that far in this current.” “We aren’t swimming,” I said, looking at the red fog that still hung over the water. “We’re walking.” I reached out through the Web, searching for the connection I had felt with the ocean. Help us, I thought. Do not let them turn you into a desert. The ocean did not rise this time. It froze. Not into ice, but into a thick, slushy bridge of salt and blood, a path of solid water that stretched from the beach to the prow of Julian’s ship.

My Blood Wizard System

My Blood Wizard System

I thread it beside the other two. Three beads now. Girl. Woman. Queen. I step into the circle of water. My court follows. The portal swallows us. We fall upward into salt and starlight. And then we’re standing on the surface of the Gulf of Mexico at sunrise, a thousand miles from home, water solid under our feet like glass. Because I told it to be. A mile away, the ocean bulges. Something enormous rises (spires of black coral and gold, domes that sing in frequencies that make human teeth ache).
