Crimson Ocean Chapter 1 소설 & 이야기

He gritted his teeth and decided to open his eyes and wipes the water away from his face with both of his hands. "Why? I know that you're going to need me tonight. We're going to have a visit on that lovely Heather!" He can feel the excitement of himself while saying those. It urges him to do it. It pushes him to make it happen. By his hands, by his own feet. But not by his own decision, but by himself. Bring him own self to another murderous part of his world. Inviting the horror of him, the mystery in him back in himself. "Aren't you getting chills, Collin? Because I do. I wanna see some blood! I wanna hear some screams! I wanna to taste death!" It encourages him more to do it. To kill...

Crimson blood-contract pulses and bioelectric fields intertwined, pressing downward into the sea. Gravity collapsed into the abyss. Power struck the deep ocean. The crimson field forced the giant eye back by half an inch. The clash of forces churned the entire region. The Arctic sea began to boil. Superheated bubbles surged to the surface in massive streams. Through the windows, mercenaries and crew members watched the boiling ocean. Some dropped their weapons. Others collapsed to one knee in the trembling corridors. Fear was replaced by something heavier—submission. The boiling intensified. A grinding sound echoed through the titanium hull.

Then humanity needed to change with it. At first, Husen worked alongside them willingly. He believed they were searching for a cure. For months they studied ancient blood samples preserved beneath the station. The samples behaved unlike anything known. They regenerated damaged tissue. They repaired cells. They adapted to foreign organisms instead of rejecting them. The researchers named it...Crimson Blood. Husen warned them repeatedly. "We don't understand it." Their answer never changed. "We'll never understand it if we're afraid to touch it."

I wrap my arms around her waist pulling her in for a chaste kiss before laying my forehead upon hers with a gentle hum. “Alpha Demetri Black is the head alpha of Crimson Dawn. Jamie called me a handful of times when Cole’s PTSD was triggered and Alpha Black needed a gentle way to bring him back. Jamie just found a package Alpha Black gave him that he didn’t expect to find addressed to me. A smartphone and a letter were found inside.” I break my hold on my mate and walk back to the table picking up the letter. I hand it to her and wait for her to finish reading. “All of us?”

He closes the door behind him gently and then he walks down the stairs and into the kitchen. Behind him, in the bedroom Blake unhurriedly opens his eyes, his red eyes glimmering in the darkness of the room. ***** Cassandra walks down the corridor heading for her quarters, the dark stone walls of the palace walls unsettling as they always have, as she turns the corner she comes face to face with Ophelia, a fellow witch and also the bane of her existence.

It's located at the corner of the land. Soon enough the car was stopped and all of them came out. "Wow, it's so pretty," Crystal whispered after seeing the waves and the beautiful ocean. This was the first time she saw the sea, she was left amazed. She always wanted to see the ocean and feel the cold water touching her feet but she got the chance to come out of her pack land. Hearing her, Ramos turned towards her and noticed how her face was glowing, she was finally smiling brightly. Ramos was glad to see her happy.

⸻ The image darkened. The Crimson One stepped away from his brothers. ⸻ Toward a glowing object hidden beneath the earth. ⸻ A crystal. ⸻ Dark red. ⸻ Beautiful. ⸻ Wrong. ⸻ The moment he touched it— Everything changed. ⸻ The vision exploded. ⸻ Darkness spread across the world. ⸻ Cities burned. ⸻ Wars erupted. ⸻ Entire kingdoms fell. ⸻ The Crimson One watched it all with fascination.

My legs gave out from underneath me, I tried to brace myself for impact against the ground, but instead my weak body was pulled into strong arms. I blinked, trying to clear the blurriness in my eyes again, the dark spots started clouding my vision, but before it fully had a chance to pull me in, I was met with deep seafoam eyes that shone with so much intensity, “I have you.." *** This chapter wasn't the best, my apologies, next chapter will be better I promise. It was alien. And it was hungry. It pressed against his senses like a cold, insidious tendril, slithering into cracks he hadn’t known he carried. It sought to unravel the very fabric of the sea, to twist the ocean’s power into something monstrous. The salt itself seemed to sour, the water’s purity leeching away beneath its touch. The ocean was bleeding. Then the vision struck. It hit him with the force of a rogue wave, shoving him backward until his spine slammed against stone. His lungs convulsed though they held no air, a scream clawing at his throat.

“Then unleash it now! The generators are screaming their death throes—the pumps sound like dying animals as the water wins faster than we can climb.” Elias helped lift the final carrier, numb fingers slipping on wet metal. “Victor’s tendrils twist through every fissure. Shadows move in the flood like living knives, cold and hungry against my skin.” Seraphina shielded the pods, her teeth chattering. “This one’s glow is almost gone. His heartbeat flutters against my palm like a dying spark fighting the dark.” Victor slammed the outer barrier again, the impact sending fresh violent torrents roaring in, the pressure pounding eardrums like hammer blows. “Pretty revelations mean nothing in the dee
