Crossing The Line
I looked back and saw her kneeling, holding my leg.
“Please don’t break up with me, I beg you,” she croaked, crying uncontrollably. “I can do anything to make up for my mistakes,” she added.
“I have nothing left to say to you,” I said, forcefully removing my leg from her grip before leaving. She didn't say another word, and I left without looking back.
After leaving the place, I went to Daniel’s bar. I felt relieved after breaking up with Nora, but deep down, I still felt unsettled for no reason. This was the only place I went to get my mind off things.
