I’m damn proud of it, and I’m glad I didn’t give up after the first fail. I’ve discovered that I get into those fantasy stories where one person knows who his or her soul mate is upon meeting them, or even before that, as what happened in the A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas, A Kinda Fairy Tale series by Cassandra Gannon, and many of the shifter books by Eve Langlais that I have loved so much. So that’s where I came up with the Love Mark idea.

As I was about to get into the bathroom since it was time for me to take a warm and nice shower to start the day- my bedroom door was wide open. "Angelaa~" here comes Rosa De Luca, the girl who likes to barge into my room whenever she feels like it. I moved my eyes from looking at her to the bathroom door and slowly made my way near it. "You haven't taken a shower yet?" she asked the obvious question while plopping herself on the bed. "Can you close the door please" her eyes darted toward the door and she let out a loud gasp, moving her body to close the open door quickly and a chuckle escaped her mouth.

I hissed , but my body was already arching into his touch. "Such a liar," Karl purred , crawling onto the bed beside me, his weight dipping the mattress. His fingers trailed up my arm. "Your cunt's dripping for us, Raven. We can smell it." I swallowed hard, my face burning. "I'm not-" "Not what?" Dane said as he leaned down, his lips brushing my temple. "Not wet? Not ours?" His hand slid beneath the hem of the lingerie, his palm flattening against my stomach, his fingers inching lower. "Or are you just scared of how much you want it?"

Every step away from that estate feels like a breath I didn’t know I was holding. By the time I reach the dorm, I’m shaking again. I shut the door behind me, toss my bag to the floor, and collapse onto the bed. The kiss. Clara. The whispers. It’s too much. I curl up under the blanket, burying my face in the pillow, Damien’s scent still lingering from the dream that refuses to leave my bones. I’m drowning in a storm I didn’t ask for. Darren explained, while giving Emma hardbound book. Emma gasped softly when she read the title of the book. "My Pretend Girlfriend, Emma." Darren wrote this book for her!
