Dara was increasingly unable to understand her husband's explanation. "What do you think I saw?" Xander brought his lips close and whispered in Dara's ear. Don laughed easily, and Dexter smiled, enjoying the sight of his dad being happier than he'd seen him in a long, long time.

"Father? How long have you been here?" Erick chuckled, he walked over and patted his only son on the shoulder. Although not from his flesh and blood, Xander is the only child he considers his flesh and blood. "Enjoy it if you're happy son.
