Daniel glanced down at the door with a thoughtful expression then he bent down slightly and waved his hand in front of the door. “That's because there's a strong spell placed on it, a spell that even a wolf can't break" He muttered then straightened up with a sigh. “That means there's definitely something down there for a witch to have it locked" Daniel nodded. “It appears so. Don't leave this spot just in case whoever has this locked is watching. Call me or mind link me if anything happens" Leo nodded. “Where are you going?" “Zane knows a witch and he's the only one she'd answer to so I have to make him get out of that house somehow. Daniel had already managed to become independent, living in his own apartment, and the conversation they now had was at his father's house. Daniel looked at him strangely, and was about to laugh thinking that his father was playing a joke on him, but from his face he saw that it wasn't. “Your mother and I are werewolves, and therefore you are too,” Darius told him calmly, watching his son pale at his words. “But... the werewolves... the moon... why...?” “I'll explain everything to you,” Christopher said behind him. I didn't have much time for chit-chat at the moment, but Daniel looked at me eagerly, making me think that what he was about to say was something I would want to hear. I took a deep breath, reminding myself that everything was under control—at least for now. To keep Giovanni from discovering Daniel's true identity, I'd turned to Peter the Wizard, the eccentric and mysterious old man. He'd given me a potion that supposedly shielded Daniel from the fluctuations of werewolf power, making him appear like any other ordinary child. However, the potion's effects were limited, and Daniel's werewolf powers still surfaced every full moon. The last time Daniel had been at a party, only two days after the full moon, traces of his power had still been lingering. That's why Giovanni had sensed something off about him.
