Xander was muttering to himself when he suddenly heard a chuckle. He snapped his head back only to see Kayson. “You— Why haven’t you left!?” Kayson looked at him with a smirk. “Mr. Campbell, you still want me dead, as expected.” Xander turned pale. ‘He heard my monologue!?’ “I-I…” Kayson asked flatly, “Mr. Campbell, I don’t need to force you in some other ways, right?” Xander slumped to the floor with an ashen face and came clean about a lot of things.

It didn't take me much time to start feeling sleepy, so I kicked off my shoes and got under my comforter and dozed off. I jolted up from my sleep when my phone rang loudly. I looked around to find myself in my room which was lit only by the little light that crept into my room through my bedroom window. I quickly scrambled to the floor, trying to get my still ringing phone from my back pack. Once I had it in my hand, I saw the screen which read "caveman", meaning Callan was the one who woke me up from my sweet sleep and also the person who was going to die at my hands.

He said, as he ran his fingers through his sandy blonde hair. My cheeks began to warm. "It's nice to see you again too." I replied, trying to lessen the grin on my face. "Is this your girlfriend Cal?" The little girl asked, with a curious smile. My cheeks got even redder, as did Callum's to my surprise. "No, she's my friend." He replied, looking back at me sheepishly. "I'm Dylan, it's nice to meet you." I said, looking down at her. Her eyes were identical to Callum's and she was absolutely beautiful.

“Have you seen them?” “No, I’m still in the refugee camp.” His spy replied. “But I have plenty to tell you regardless. This entire place is abuzz with intel, the idealistic fools never saw me coming.” “Well get on with it then.” Damon ordered gruffly, pacing in his rooms.

"Funny," Dimitri said, still chuckling, "considering I was just thinking about feeling older than I am. Maybe it's striking early." He glanced around, taking in the quietness of the evening. He glanced back over to Nathan who was already setting up his camp chair and placing his cooler on the ground beside it. "I kind of figured I'd be drinking alone."

It was an unknown caller. "Hello, Antonio," the person on the other end said. His voice was dark and fierce and he sounded like he had a problem with me. "Hello to you, too," I answered in a rather fierce voice as I walked a few steps away from her bed. "It's so sad how you killed my men before they even got to pass my message... no one came back alive," he said and laughed.
