The Light Through His Darkness

The Light Through His Darkness

It was empty when I arrived, so I leaned against the bench, letting my thoughts wander. Moments later, the hum of a motorcycle broke the quiet. I glanced up to see a man pulling up in front of me, his face bare without a helmet. "Need a ride, beautiful?" He asked, his tone casual but his gaze lingering longer than it should. I shook my head politely. "I think I’ll pass, thanks." "Suit yourself." He said with a shrug, though he didn’t leave. His eyes traveled over me, making my skin crawl. "You sure?" He pressed. "Buses don’t run this route too often. Might be waiting a while."

KNIGHT IN DARKNESS

KNIGHT IN DARKNESS

Work is the only way I would be able to divert my mind from this thoughts. I was working so focused to divert my mind that I didn't realize what time it was... Then suddenly I looked at the watch ...it was over 2 hours than the office closing time...oh my god...how can I be so careless..... I stood up from my seat and looked outside in the corridors... All lights were off...oh my god...everyone has left already.... I am scared of darkness... So I can't even go there...why this happens to me only.

Chasing Darkness

Chasing Darkness

The wind blows mildly, bearing the scent of half winter half spring night. Sounds of rustling leaves mixed in a bit with the blowing wind making a melody of stillness and peace, kind like a lullaby. She looks up the evening sky and shivered at the coldness of the night. The sky was a bit unclear, stars are merely visible due to fogginess and she could only see a faint glow of yellow light underneath the cloud that covers moon. Her eyes shifted on her surroundings. It was dark. There were lamps but neither of them generates light. Tombs are neatly aligned on both sides. Some have withered flowers and unlighted candles, while most of them have none.

Reborn to Defy Fate

Reborn to Defy Fate

It was for me alone. > “We are coming for you… child of the divided dawn.” A shiver wracked my entire body. > “We will not allow the bringer of light to survive.” My heart slammed hard enough to hurt. > “One light cannot hold all darkness.” And then the whisper turned cold. Hungry. > “We will claim what is ours.” The last trace of darkness retreated into the earth, disappearing like ink sinking into water. Silence fell again. Except this time, it was the wrong kind of silence.

Poor Husband's Betrayal

Poor Husband's Betrayal

Raisa wrote a poem entitled in the quiet, she then reread her work. In a lonely corner of the silent night, I hug your shadow in this loneliness. The longing that slices the heart, Flowed with tears that did not stop. In every beat of my heart, There is your name that echoes sadly. The hope that used to strengthen, Now only a painful memory. I walk in empty hallways, Without direction, without light. All the promises you once made, Are now just shadows that disappear slowly. Time passes slowly and cruelly, Leaving deep wounds.

The Blood Bound Legacy

The Blood Bound Legacy

Darkness. Not the absence of light, but a void—a silence that pressed against the skin, the mind, the soul. Lena stood alone in this nothingness, her breath the only sound. The world around her was undefined, a canvas awaiting form. Then, a flicker—a sharp and sudden memory. She was six years old, hiding beneath the staircase of her childhood home. Thunder rumbled outside, and the walls trembled with the echoes of raised voices. Her parents, locked in another argument, their words weapons that left invisible scars.

Mated to the Night Wolf

Mated to the Night Wolf

There-my head tilts ever so slightly, as I drown in his gaze. In between colors that have no names. Passed the beauty of his dark stare, behind the cold dark exterior- further and deeper than any ever. So deep the bottom itself seems endless until... I hold a breath. Or is it that I forget to breathe? In the total darkness— a fading soul shimmer. In its arms, cradled carefully lies a dying flame, an ember losing its last spark. In a storm of ash and rain, the soul sits trying to save what little there is to save, in the darkest night, knee deep in the muddiest waters, barely alive.

Well worth the wait! Your 55 chapters are more like 250 chapters of other authors. Your chapters are long, detailed and fully packed with more intrigue. The guard? I’m team Kayos, but it’s so beautiful how tender the guard was with her to let her know he will honor her…but I think there’s more.

This book is so good. I love the writing, the characters, the story and the execution. Perfection at its core but I have a problem, please could you release a chapter at least once a week. It’s not fair because I’m basically hooked on this book and I don’t get regular updates.

Bloody Full Moon

Bloody Full Moon

Laura - 1963 Darkness. Fear. My heart thuds, almost breaking free from my ribcage. I gasp for air, but there isn't enough for my thirsty lungs. Fear can be a dreadful thing, killing you before your time comes. Reaching out in the dark, I touch a wall in front of me. Same on my left and right. A hard floor beneath my back as I am lying flat. Where am I?

Cruelty Of Love

Cruelty Of Love

Darkness seeps into an addict's mind, drowning his entire soul in darkness. The truth of Edim Demiray and me was that we were both dark, but on the other hand, this was the sharpest and clearest difference between us, the dimension of our darkness cut into us. While I was drowning myself in darkness, he was putting everything into darkness. So if I were to make a comparison, I could only be a part of his darkness next to him.
