“Hi, Lucas. How was your day?” “It’s too late for that now. I already asked.” I huffed a laugh despite how tired I felt. His eyes narrowed as he studied the screen. “Where the hell are you?” he asked. “Don’t tell me you’re sleeping at the studio again.” “I had a few things to finish here.” “A few things?” He looked unconvinced. “So you are sleeping there.” I shrugged. Lucas snorted. “You’re an erotica artist, Davin. You don’t spend nights hiding in your studio unless you have a muse.”

* Lucca Ricardi had only just returned to Italy for a few days, landing again tonight, and hadn’t expected to run into Ava at the restaurant. “Mr. Reinaldi,” she greeted politely, her tone measured, her gaze calm. Isabella wondered who this Leonardo person was and why was he so feared but as she started to put two and two together her heart began racing in her chest as she remembered where she heard that name before. " Il diavolo"( The devil) was what her gang leader father called him, her father was a feared and powerful man, but as he said this to his associates he said so with fear clearly written all over his face and the thought that she was being taken to him didn't help her growing anxiety. They walked down four sets of stairs and soon entered a darker mustier area.

“Why do you keep pointing guns at people's heads?" Ava asked as she came downstairs. Lucas reacted dramatically, exclaiming, "Oh my goodness! Who is she, and why is she here?" Lucian looked at Ava in surprise. Wasn't she just scared upstairs? "Hi! I'm Daisy Addams!" Ava introduced herself, extending her hand for a handshake. Lucian pulled her back, settling her onto his lap. "Ava Luciano Russo." Lucian corrected, emphasising his possessiveness over her.

I jumped forward to stop Luca, begged him repeatedly, " Stop! Stop! Luca.. Listen to me...I don't believe that David can do it..At least, hear him first..Luca.." Luca yelled furiously, not ready to listen to my words, " Listen what Kiera? I trusted my sister to him. Tell me who will dare to make her sick if it's not him?" Suddenly, David extended his arm to grab Luca's gun and pushed it towards his chest. He asked with a broken voice, " Kill me, Luca! I deserve this! I..I have failed...I have failed to protect her...even today...I failed...She is sick because of my mistake....Shoot me, Luca! Just shoot me!!"

Drago heaved a deep sigh, “you promise?” “I promise you dad, please don’t track me dad, I will come back to you, just treat this as a vacation for me, please.” “What if I send some men to just keep an eye on you? Donovan continued to read the note, his eyes scanning every word. '- I call you Papa because you have always been my provider as well as my protector.
