Aria’s POV: “Nowhere important.” “Mmm.” She popped a bite of banana into her mouth. “You’re going to explode one day, Aria. You know that, right?” I didn’t answer. I couldn’t. Not when the thought of seeing *him* again made my stomach twist. Dean Wolfe’s office was less “administrator” and more “CEO who moonlights as a villain.” Dark oak bookshelves, leather chairs, and a glass decanter of something expensive on the corner of his desk. I stood outside for almost two minutes before knocking.

Throughout the book, I have put in the author’s notes that the second companion book in this series is already out, which is “My Mate Outside Sun Moon Pack”. It is also finished and has been marked complete. The second book focuses on Theo, Wyatt’s cousin and the Dean of a university, and Tyler.

By the time Momma passed I was married with a little one on the way, so my chance for college had passed, too. But I never stopped reading. Got me a nice little library out back, filled with all sorts of books crammed on bookshelves made by my own two hands. Books like Tom Sawyer, Edgar Allen Poe stories, Huck Finn and The King in Yellow, (that last one I don’t read much cause it always gives me strange dreams), some old mysteries, a clutch of Lovecraft’s books (they hurt my head, too, so I don’t read them much neither), my Hardy Boys books from growing up, and a whole bunch of newer ones by Stephen King and Dean Koontz. He pulled out the book and groaned when he saw the papers were missing. “What is going on? You’ve been acting weird.” Machine said. “Come with me.” Dex groaned, standing up. “No. Tell me what the hell is going on.” Machine demanded, crossing his arms over his chest. “We can’t talk here. My room was just broken into. Where in the hell did that bastard go?” Dex growled, shoving past Machine. “Who?” He asked, looking around. “That fucker Decay! Bastard has been fucking playing us!” Dex growled, storming down the stairs.

“No. I’m good, really.” “Okay.” Dean said softly as he nodded gently. “Alright, let’s start snooping.” I said in a lighter tone, in hopes of getting that same worried look out of his face. Dean and I started with his mini book shelf, to his closet, to between his mattress. Dean was still looking through his bookshelf while I was going through the drawers in his night stand when he said, “He sure has a lot of books.” “He does.” I agreed with him. “If one thing Connor has an eye for, it’s good books.”

I hope that you enjoyed this story. This was one of the first full novels that I wrote. If you have you will also enjoy Across the Desk and the triology that it sparked. it is a dark romance story in which a young woman, Deanna, finds her true love and they forge a bond that not even her insane family can break. The second in the story is Weathering the Storm where their story continues. Then breaking the Eye Wall which they finally find the end of their nightmare together. WEathering the storm is already on goodnovel and Breaking the eye wall will be released in November of 2020.

❗NEW BOOK ALERT❗ I will be having a book II for this series called "His Fractured Flame (Book II of HFF series)". But before we get to it, I'm currently writing a stand-alone novel from His Fragile Flame that was written in another perspective. To be specific, it's a book about Kourtney Devaraux which will be under Young Adult since it mostly revolved around high school. This is the first in the insanity Series dealing with the Watson's and the two characters of Max and Deanna. The Second book is now out on Goodnovel. The name of it is Weathering the Storm. it continues where this book left off. The third will be released on November 1st, 2020 and it is called Breaking the eye wall. A tie in series will be released in December called The nightmare begins. All books will be released on Barnes and noble .com as well by the end of the year.
