As I drift of to sleep, I can hear the faint voice in my head say goodnight. ----- CRACK. I sit up straight in bed, as the blinding flash of lightning strikes followed by the crack of thunder. A scream escaped my lips before I could shove it back down. The lightning looked really close outside the window, making it even more scary. My door swung open, and Declan bursted inside. His claws and teeth were elongated, and his eyes were fully black looking ready to pounce.
