I summoned my demon and called Haralthazar. As my demon came to me, a crippling wave of nausea tried to hold me back. I shoved it aside, refusing to let it stop me as I reached and reached, finding the edge of the doorway that was his statue, feeling for him, calling him as I had seen my mother do so many times before. A group of wrathful demons threw knives at innocent slaves to see who could kill them first. I gritted my teeth and scanned the room forher. When I caught my mother sitting near the back with a glass of blood in her hand, she looked over at me almost as if she sensed or smelled my presence. I made a beeline toward her, grabbed the man flirting with her, and shoved him out of his seat. “We need to talk.”

Thirty thousand years ago also happened to be several thousand years after the powerhouses attacked the Malevolent Demon. “Could it be that your mother is the Malevolent Demon?” “How is that possible?” Xainte cast a glance at Yikron and corrected him, saying, “My mother is not the Malevolent Demon. She’s just a maid by the Malevolent Demon’s side.” After saying that, she took a deep breath. “It’s complicated. You don’t know much. Even if I tell you, you wouldn’t understand.”

He looked at me in shock and I could see the fear in his eyes when he looked at my arm. "Demon." I heard him say before running away from my room. I just asked why he seems to be scared. Who is the demon? Me? What is a demon by the way? Then when I got dressed I went out of the room and went to the kitchen, I saw a knife fall to the floor so I took it but I immediately let it go and closed my eyes because I saw something in my mind again. I saw the face of my mom and the girl with the horns again, mom was holding a knife and stabbed that girl with the horns, the girl did not know because she was sleeping.

What’s its name?” David stared at his girl thinking she looked like her mother more every day. “I have no idea what its real name is.” Holding up his hand, he stopped any other questions that she was about to fire off. “He goes by many names. Sometimes its Sam and others have told me its name was James.” “Ok, I don’t understand why mom died or how this demon had anything to do with it.” “Your mom was part of a coven that dates back toward the 1700s, and they have been fighting this demon since then and a few others for that fact. And that piece of glass you found inside mom’s box is what he or it is after.”

But my mom just smiled. “That’s my girl.” I smiled proudly. “But what is that?” She picked me up and walked over to her bookcase, she pulled out a really old book and opened it. On the page was a man with horns on his head and a long tail. “So, a demon is usually a very strong being. One who will use tricks and magic to punish anyone who makes them angry.
