Divorce Me Before Death Takes Me, Ceo นิยาย & เรื่องราว

She reached out to open the window and a cool breeze blew past, finally bringing some clarity. She badly needed some air. “When are we getting a divorce?” Ashley sat on the chair and looked up at Jaxon. Jaxon, who had always been adept at predicting the possible outcomes of various proposals, had never expected Ashley to say this. After all, this woman had always wanted to climb to the position of the madam of the Elijah family. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have… Thinking about what had happened five years ago, Jaxon frowned. “Grandpa’s eightieth birthday is in three months. After that, we’ll get a divorce. You’d better behave yourself during this period of time. You can have the property here, a

Her heart shattered, as if the entire world had crumbled onto her shoulders alone. “Why is all this happening to me? How much more strength must I have to bear it all?” she whispered faintly, clinging to her father as though refusing to let go. --- A week after Robert Shane’s passing, a phone call from the company nearly stopped Amora’s heartbeat. “Mrs. Amora… I must deliver important news,” the secretary’s voice trembled over the line. “All the company’s assets… have been officially transferred into Vicktor Caldwell’s name.” Amora froze. “What?!” Her voice rose sharply, her fingers clutching the phone so tightly that her knuckles turned white.

My voice was ice. “The moment you divorce, the marriage is nullified. It’s a clause Richard put in place. If you two split, it’s as if the marriage never happened, and you both lose access to the company.” Her voice faltered. “The company will be sold off, and the money given to charity.” A scream of frustration tore through me before I could stop it. I slammed my fist on the desk, my vision blurring with rage. “Why?” I hissed through clenched teeth. “Why can’t I get this fucking asshole out of my life for good?”

He sighed, "alright. Let me know when so I can draft a prenup." 3 My anger flared, "I'm not having her sign a damn prenup." He looked at me like I was crazy, "Leo. This is not a joking matter. You're worth billions, you're the largest shareholder of the corporation. You can't get into a marriage without a prenup. If you get a divorce -" I rolled my eyes, "If we get a divorce, you'll be the first one to say 'I told you so'. So let's leave it at that. There will be no prenup. Now, about the will."

“I think that's too late. Your dad said nothing after answering the call, but I saw fear in his eyes.” Haley pondered further. She had just been divorced, and a financial crisis was the last thing she needed. It seemed that all the troubles seemed to have started when the Blue Diamond Company pulled out their assets. But then, it occurred to her that her ex-husband worked in the same company. He was now its CEO. “Did you say three weeks ago?” Haley asked. “Yes. Why?”

Darrin looked at her and scowled. "What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be getting a massage or something?" He sneered. "I'm here to show the board that you are no longer CEO of this company. Since we got divorced a couple of days ago, you are fired! According to the stipulation in my dad's will, if we divorce you are fired and I take over as the new CEO." Tricia explained. "Fake documents won't work here little girl. Now run along and let the adults conduct business." Darrin dismissed.

“We’ll see. Are we the first?” “For now. Come, I’ll explain.” Mr. Edwards brought us into his large office, not a conference room. “The company’s in trouble, as I mentioned last night. It has no owner, and the CEO quit hours before your father’s death. There’re several reasons for the CEO leaving. It’s for the best. It means you must take control. Find a CEO or do it yourself. I can’t stress our competitor is more than barking at our doors. He’s…”

"I… I didn't know you'd miscarry. If I had known, I never would have—" My exhaustion weighed heavily on me as I interrupted, expressionless. "Let's get divorced." I had prepared myself for this long before I arrived. "If you refuse to sign the papers, we'll take this to court," I continued. "You're the one at fault here, and I doubt you want the ugly truth of the Goldberg Corporation's CEO's infidelity plastered all over the headlines." The color drained from Tristan's face.

I ask, concerned. “You know, your grandmother before she died, set up a succession trust which requires the CEO to be married before assuming the position officially. You're the acting CEO, Dane and I think it's time to hand over the company to you solely. But you can't have it if you're not married” he says “You've got to be kidding me right?” I look at him and nothing on his face shows he's joking.

"It's going to be a bloodbath soon." I raise my head up and then follow his gaze to the TV. The headline reads. The CEO of Rodriquez Brands dies three days after the fatal road accident. Damn. "Do you think his estranged daughter will fly home?" He glances between me and the TV. "I hope," I say as I start to push through the room towards the door. Before the door closes behind me, I hear the man say, "I should start selling my shares." I tug my cap down my head before I stride down the hallway of the complex. The elevator isn't walking so I make use of the stairs instead.
