I find it strange that there are no notes or marked pages. I pick up the second book and am surprised that there are notes, but not in my hand. The handwriting is that of a man and seems old. Curiously, I follow the directions for the hand motions and see a pink smoke illuminating from my hand. Concentrating on a medical terminology book on a shelf, I call it to me, then stop it before it reaches me. “Page 75,” the book opens to the page, and I hear the words in my head. “Stop,” I say, then, “Page 283.” The pages turn, and then I hear the words again. “Stop, go back.” The book goes back to its place on the shelf. I still have a few months of my Luna training. I still have a lot to learn but I am pretty confident in my abilities and I know it will get easier with time. My phone buzzed and I checked. I smiled when I saw that Hillan texted me. “Here is the p*f of what I told you about. Will bring the physical copy when I visit.” His text read. I downloaded the file and clicked on it. My eyes widened when I saw that it had four thousand pages. Four freaking thousand. That’s a lot of pages to read. I quickly texted back a thank you and clicked the file again.

Folding it back, I slam the document on the table and point to a highlighted paragraph. “Do you need me to read it to you, or can you read it aloud for everyone to hear?”
