“That doesn’t mean it can’t still be traced.” Katherine rolled her eyes dramatically. “You’re forgetting one important thing,” she muttered. “We cannot survive in hiding forever without allies.” I said nothing. She resumed dialing calmly like my concern meant absolutely nothing. The phone rang twice before someone answered. Katherine immediately turned slightly away from me. “It’s me,” she said quietly. A pause. Then… “I need you to come to the hideout immediately.” Another pause. Her expression darkened slightly. “Yes… things have changed.” More silence followed before she finally ended the call.
