Paolo also threw his weight against the door, making the door shake and rattle even more loudly than before. "Open the door! Open the door now! Those things are going to get us!" "La Signorina," Quinto's low, threatening voice was heard through the door. "You heard what happened to the other guy just now. If you don't open the door, you're going to die right after us!" They then stopped throwing themselves at the door and began targeting the door's weakest spot—the door lock. They kept attacking the door lock now as it was the most likely to break first, and their hammering only grew louder and louder with each strike. The lock visibly began wobbling.

Damon: I sat on the sigil covered floor, awaiting my fate. I could feel and even see doom lurking around me. At that point, I'd lost all hope. Being in a church building made it worse because the holiness surrounding it had stripped me of all my abilities and physical strength, leaving me a weak human.

That was when their anger hardened into hate. "Why? We are starving too!" Jessica screamed through tears, her voice raw. Rex sneered and thumped his fist against his chest. "Because I'm stronger than you! The weak die. That's how the world works now!" "You're insane!" Leo cursed, but his voice was thin and weak. Rex walked over and stomped on Leo's hand. Bone cracked under the pressure, and Leo screamed in agony. Rex looked down at him. "Say that again. Tell me who's insane now."

“What happens to Dom?” Nick inhaled deeply. “We’re working on it. The DA is being contacted. But… Mona, the pack is getting weaker.” Sonia nodded. “The Luna spirit remains unanchored. Your energy isn’t connected to the pack. Dom’s power is slipping. The elders feel it. We’re all feeling it.” My stomach twisted. I had suspected something was wrong when Patty mentioned Dom’s weakening. Then when Tyler and Allen came by. Then when my own wolf felt unstable, restless, like it was pacing in a cage.

"My pack is strong, Damon. We honor our agreements." "Strength requires vigilance," Damon countered smoothly, but with an edge like honed steel. He gestured broadly, encompassing the room, the guards standing less than perfectly alert, the general state of things. His gaze swept past me in the alcove, a dismissive flicker. "It requires maintaining standards. Allowing weakness, in any form, invites disaster." His eyes didn't linger, but the implication was brutal and clear. He might as well have pointed directly at me. Weakness. Inefficiency. Disaster.

"I'm being serious here. Even if things don't go well with his Mother, he loves you too much to harm you like that, he would rather die, than give you up to his mother's evil schemes... Trust him," Conri bit his lip and stared at his Beta in confusion, why did it sound as if Dom knew something that he didn't? Or perhaps it was just his own paranoia. "There is a weakness, Dominic... Someone who is close to me or has been, is also close to the Witch and they are the Mirror in which she holds my weakness, someone whom I have shared intimacy with, and currently, I have Dare and Caleb on that list," He explained simply.

While humans can absorb the core both the zombies and humans. Wei Zhi Yin frowned when he felt that his darkness ability weakened. From level 8 low rank it became level 7 low rank. He regress a one whole level. Well he already expected this, Once a person use their ability essence they will surely regress in strength and it took a long time before they can use again their ability essence. After all, one you activated your ability essence it can make your strength rank up in one whole level tho it would only last two minutes. He asked what it meant and his mom explained the blood. "So she internally bleeds every month. Jeez." Demitri said. He never considered Becca a girl, but now it was too apparent to ignore. He felt terrible that she has to go through that for no reason. Demitri took a walk down to the grocery store and bought some of Becca's favourite gummy bears. She liked when they were bigger because then she could bite the head off better. Demitri knocked and Becca answered. "Oh hi." she said, hoping that Demitri didn't come over to hang out. She was in no shape or mood to do so.

How is it related to me? “Don’t you get? Everything started because of the Luna’s betrayal to the alpha. They were mates but she still chose another man over him. His betrayal had traumatized Dimitri as well. He was also hurt those time but he needs to stand up and be strong for the pack. That made him what he is today. Since then, he vowed not to have a mate ever. He sees you as a weakness he can’t afford to have. Not for the pack, not for himself.”

Sophia replies. "But he doesn't have a mate," Ms. Nelly adds. "Why is that?" I ask her. "I don't know. There is a rumour that the moon goddess cursed him because he is a wicked individual but no one knows for sure," Ms. Nelly replies. "I don't know if anyone would want to be stuck with Dwayne forever. I would really pity that woman," Sophia says and laugh. The sound feels sore in my throat. I am really thirsty, and hungry. I wish I had eaten something sensible in the morning other than the chicken burger that I ordered.
