Beyond the Chains
The echoes of Trayaksh’s words still rang in her ears,"Tomorrow, we’ll see how much fight you still have left in you, wife."
Tomorrow had come.
And so had he.
The door creaked open, the sound sending a chill down her spine. Measured and heavy footsteps approached her, stopping right before her.
"Doll." His voice was quiet, almost gentle. But she knew better.
She slowly turned her gaze toward him. Trayaksh stood tall, dressed in his crisp black shirt and slacks, exuding effortless power and cruelty. His face was unreadable, but his eyes held something dangerous.
"You didn’t come down for breakfast," he remarked, tilting his head.
