Broken.

Broken.

I replied with confidence but only just to provoke him. "Oooh, you're still as bold as ever even when you're left with only the bones and no flesh." He said, leaning back on his desk. He took a lusty look at me from head to toe, biting his mouth. It was as if he already undressed me but with his eyes. Even when you loose a game, just make sure to dress like the winner, as confident and sexy as ever, only then you can get in the nerves of your opponent, and that was exactly what I did.

Sorry, I’m An Anti-Romantic

Sorry, I’m An Anti-Romantic

Wyatt asked. He shrugged. "I don't know. We'll decide when this finishes, now lets start!" He exclaimed. He was first so he currently had the advantage but even with his secured turn, he still took it seriously. Carefully choosing a piece at the midsection of the tower, his hand wavered nervously. He started to poke at it, slowly inching it out of the stack, making weird noises as he did so. "Woah.....wooOAH!" He had only gotten half of it out at this point but the tower was already shaking.

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

Instead, Caspian took advantage of the excellent momentum and luck to continue drawing. Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh! The Time Warp Zone was instantly filled with the sound of the brush moving on the paper. Soon, three pieces of successfully drawn weight inscription appeared in front of Caspian. At this time, Caspian's sweat dripped from his hair. Drawing four pieces of weight inscriptions seemed to be more tiring than practicing The Strangulation of an Angered Dragon ten times. Nevertheless, Caspian was happy. "I'll keep one of the weight inscriptions and sell the rest." Caspian took a deep breath.

What happened to the original writer of this book? The new writer is a far cry from the first one in terms of style, creativity, dialogue and story telling. He has turned a once very arresting story into a very boring one. It is sad.

He leaned over and moved the black piece. “They think they’ve won, but they have no idea what is coming for them,” He smirked and dropped a final piece.

Fairies & Humans

Ok blonde or black, which do I want to stay with. "I'll draw straws between you two," I mumble, noticing relief on Adrit's face. I go through my bag and explain to Adrit what to do with the toothpicks. I leave one plain for Torin and color the bottom of the other for Cadac. I turned while he completed the small task.

Otherwise, his plan could quickly fall apart quickly. He found that dosing the water wouldn't be an issue as he had walked out of the room but left his cup for water empty to fil he emptied the vial and waited for Masamune to pour his own water in the cup. It had worked out even better then he had hoped and planned for. He paused and watched as Masamune looked at the still almost empty cup and refilled it with water and quickly downed the contents. He smiled at Mitsuhide and said, "You're not going to trick me today by switching my water."

Rhapsody for a Wolf

Rhapsody for a Wolf

I pull out the paper from my pocket, and hold it where Sarah can take it. “This is for you. With any changes you think it needs.” She opens the folds, holding it firmly because the wind is trying to take it away. I remember the vampire jeweller’s drawing, all stark black lines on white, clean and precise. This is my own hand, and the red-gold of the stone is a flame in the center of the black and white page. Sarah turns the paper this way and that, tilting her head as well, following the curving line of music. “The ninth,” she says softly. “You remembered.”

The Day I Stopped Loving Him

The Day I Stopped Loving Him

"I know. Tell them to hurry." She walked back to the cutting table. She sat down. She picked up the pencil. She drew the building again. This time, she drew the walls holding. She drew the column supported. She drew the void intact. She drew the figure standing inside, safe. The pencil moved with precision. The lines were heavy and black. The structure would hold. She would not let it fall. She pressed so hard the pencil tip almost broke through the paper. The drawing was a spell. A promise. A blueprint for survival.

Daddy, I found you a wife.

Daddy, I found you a wife.

She shook her head, snatching a yellow straight-edge. START HERE. She shoved the Scribble-note under my nose. Bossy for seven. I liked it. We built slow, pieces clicking like whispers. Me fumbling the inners, her pointing precisely with that crayon-stub. "Okay, genius, your turn. Where's the exit? Or is this one of those 'no way out' deals?" I waggled a red petal piece, teasing. She snatched it, fitting it perfect to a bloom I'd missed.

His Billion-Dollar Regret: The Forgotten Wife Returns

His Billion-Dollar Regret: The Forgotten Wife Returns

She picked up the pencil Claire had left beside it. She drew two figures at a table. Handed the pencil to Lewis. He looked at the two figures. Then he drew a ring. Small. On the left hand of the figure on the right. He put the pencil down. Yessica looked at what he'd drawn. She didn't say anything. But her hand found his on the table and stayed there.
