I take a couple of aspirins and go to the bathroom. Taking a deep breath and looking in the mirror, my eyes are swollen and red from crying, and my nose is bleeding. I have bruises from when Dean stuffed the sock in my mouth. My neck looks black and blue; I don’t recall him touching my neck. I have bruises on my arms and my breast, and there are little pools of blood from where he bit me. I have bruises between my thighs, and I’m still bleeding.

It isn’t hunger though, it’s like the feeling you get before a fight like a burst of adrenaline. I brush it off and continue to talk to my mother, but this nagging feeling keeps tickling the back of my mind and when it hits me I know something is wrong with Bree. I start to panic and go to open a portal when I stumble slightly to the side and the sharpest pain goes through my jaw, I can taste blood in my mouth. I straighten myself and again go to open a portal when I am forced to my knees, someone is clearly bashing the shit out of Bree, and the pain that’s ricocheting throughout my face is bearable but I can't say the same for Bree.

It was a beautiful feeling being wrapped in his arms, and when I dreamt, it was a haunting nightmare instead of a beautiful dream. I was somewhere dark, and all around me, warm liquid was squirting out of everywhere. I closed my eyes trying to shield them from the liquid and it wasn’t until I opened them that I realized I was bathed in blood. My fingers, dress, hair and face were dripping with blood. My lips parted but no sound came out of them. Where had all the blood come from? From where? And then all of a sudden, I saw bodies hanging from an invisible rope, dripping with blood.

“Miss! Stay put, we’re here.” Huh? What is happening right now? I wanted to ask but I can’t hear my voice nor open my mouth to speak. I notice something is gushing down to my thighs that made me look at it and my eyes widen to what I saw… Blood. There’s blood everywhere, I want to wake up from this… I don’t want to loose someone I cherish and love but my body is weak that later my eyes grew more tired as well as my body and everything began disappear and my whole world turn onto black.

There is so much blood, so much and it’s rising and rising. Mother gets on all fours crawling towards me, ready to devour me whole, “No! No!” I scream trying to move back, but there’s too much blood I slip, I can’t move. I watch in horror as my mother’s mouth opens wide revealing rows and rows of teeth, each fang dripping with blood, I close my eyes, ready for the inevitable.

“That’s what happened.” His jaw tightens, but he doesn’t say anything. "One day you're gonna be the reason I die," I mutter, my voice barely a whisper as I shut my eyes and try to slow down my breathing. My lungs burn, my head spins, and I feel like I’m hanging on by a thread. Jake’s voice cuts through the haze. "She’s bleeding." I blink my eyes open just in time to see his thumb swipe at the corner of my mouth. There’s blood on it. His face twists with fear, like the sight of it is physically hurting him.
