I pointed at her face, feeling furious. Suddenly, my throat felt hot. I could barely breathe in oxygen because of the coughing that didn't pause at all. I felt something strange happening to my body. There was a burning sensation inside my skin that made me feel petrified and uncomfortable. Suddenly, I felt a blood-like discharge coming out of my teeth that was sharp and piercing. I felt like I was waking up from a nightmare, and my vision instantly turned dark and blurry. I felt thirsty and wanted to find something that could quench my thirst. Not only that, but I felt like finding a source of blood to drink.

I thought I had forgotten how to smile, but who knew chocolate would do the trick. Sighing, I close my eyes and rest my head on the pillow only to open them back up immediately I see Dylan's lifeless pale face with his mouth drooling blood. My insomnia's been getting really worse, and I doubt I've had any real sleep for as long as I can remember. I wake up from each doze sweating and panting from the nightmares.

Victoria helped me stand, supporting me as I rinsed my mouth at the sink. My reflection looked terrible…I was pale and sweating, my eyes looked too wide. It was blood! “What’s happening to me!” I scream. More blood begins pouring from my eyes. Then my nose bleeds. I run the tap and splash my face with water again but more blood appears. I have made it worse. “I’m bleeding from my eyes! This isn’t normal!” I cry. Then I collapse to the floor and black out. BANG, BANG! “Killian, can you open the door!” a voice shouts from outside the door. I wake up to the voice shouting from outside the door. I climb to my feet and look in the mirror. I look like a horror show.

I hold onto the basin and try to ground myself but i cant. The thought of him finding me is causing me to have a panic attack. I try and focus on anything around me but nothing is working, and that’s when I notice my eyes. My eyes are glowing golden and my gums are hurting like crazy. I open my mouth and can see my gum is splitting to accommodate for the growth of my canines. I scream out in pain.

I feel my bottom lip rip against my teeth explosively as blood starts pooling in my mouth then begins to trickle from the wide gap in my bottom lip. "WILL YOU JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP ALREADY?" The other man, Jace I presume, leans over the top of Blind Guy and screams in my face. I didn't even see his fist coming. My mouth hurts so bad and the blood is so thick I choke on it as it pours down my throat.

It was that the dream had changed. Before, just as the bomb was about to go off, the scene would change to Jade Firefly—dancing, laughing, teasing me with that damned smile of hers. And just before we share a kiss, she would vanish. But last night… it has been totally different. In the dream, when she appeared, she smiled at me from the door. And then blood will begin to pour from her mouth. Thick. Dark. Endless. She would stagger, her body shaking, before falling to the ground right in front of me. And whenever I looked up—

Another nightmare. I drag a hand over my face, trying to slow my breathing. But the images still claw at the edges of my mind. Blood. So much blood. A little girl screaming. And me… or something that feels like me… teeth bared, hands soaked red, the world shaking underfoot. I squeeze my eyes shut, trying to force the pieces to come together. But it’s always the same. Just when it feels like I might see the full picture, it all blurs into nothing.

He settles against my chest. "What was the dream about?" Ronan asks. "The moon was bleeding. Trees were talking. Showing me things." "What kind of things?" I don't wanna tell him. Don't wanna say what I saw. "Bad things. Things that might happen." Ronan gets up and comes over to us. "Just a dream, baby." "Was it?" "Course it was. Dreams ain't real." But my hands are still bleeding. And the baby was glowing. Dreams don't make you bleed. Dreams don't make babies glow.
