Dreaming Walking Barefoot Novels & Stories

The streets were silent, the air was cold and the traffic light was beaming bright red, I took my heels off and started walking barefoot on the cold pebbles of the road less taken by which would lead me straight to the town jungle, everything was already planned out in the back of my head and now I was simply placing the pieces together.

he says. “That’s for the adults. We don’t have to do that. We can just do something that makes us comfortable,” I say. “So, what are you comfortable at?” he asks me. I smile as I sit on the chair next to him and take off that high heels from my feet. I place the both heels beside me and then stand on my bare foot. “Why are you on barefoot? You will be cold,” he screams as he sees me barefoot but he doesn’t know I have walked barefoot so many times and it’s not even uncomfortable for me. Surely, it is little bit cold but not to uncomfortable.

The sound seemed to grow louder with each step. “I should change these slippers,” I whispered angrily, kicking them off and holding them in my hand. The moment my barefoot touched the floor, a sense of relief washed over me. Walking barefoot felt… quieter. Safer. I had walked around for some minutes before stopping, remembering I had no idea where the kitchen—or anywhere—in the mansion was. “Where am I?” I muttered to myself, looking around. I tried tracing my steps back, but I still couldn't find my path.

The lights in the garden had already lit up, and the flowers looked lovely under the soft glow. Looking at the cobblestone path in front of her, Adeline recalled reading about walking barefoot on it would help to increase sleeping quality. Since she hadn't been sleeping properly recently, she took off her shoes and stood barefoot on the sharp, uneven stones. The stones felt cold beneath her feet, and it somehow relaxed her. She began to walk slowly down the path. From time to time, she would feel a sharp jab of pain at the soles of her feet, which startled her every time. Otherwise, she quite enjoyed the whole endeavor.

“My feet are fine.” “Good to hear it – or rather see it,” Lacey said with a grin. “I’m sure our footwear will be fine here at the table until we return.” She placed her shoes next to the table. Blake did the same. They began to walk. “How does it feel?” “What?” “The sand – on your feet.” “Warm and gritty,” he answered bluntly. Lacey snickered. “It doesn’t feel freeing to you?” “No. Just a bit strange,” Blake said with slight confusion. “Why do people make such a big deal of walking barefoot in the sand?”

CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY ONE ZOEY I had a dream but the dream didn’t start like a dream. It started with cold wind brushing against my skin and the soft crunch of leaves beneath my feet as I walked forward. I looked down and I was barefoot, standing in a dark forest, dressed in nothing but a thin white gown. The moonlight shone beautifully, casting shadows across the ground. I turned in a slow circle. “Frankie?” I whispered, not even sure why her name came out first. She hadn’t spoken to me in days. I’d screamed her name and begged her to answer, but now, the forest was quiet, until it wasn’t.

[Slone] He is calling me. *thump* I just need to walk to the edge of the road, to the start of the forest beyond. Just a step, and a turn. *thump thump* The stones are crunching underneath my bare feet. I am not wearing shoes. Why am I not wearing shoes? My feet and ankles are wet with dew as I walk across Evander’s garden. The flowers are so beautiful. The glow in the moonlight.

He asked as he stared down at my bare feet. “Yes. Anything wrong with that?” I asked him, returning my eyes forward. “It is unhygienic,” I gave a short laugh. “You are telling a nurse that?” I asked and glanced at him as we continued walking. “The heels were killing. It has been a long time since I wore one and sometimes, it is good to do something you usually don't do,” “Like walking around the city barefoot?” “Yup,” I popped the P, nodding my head.

Jazzy looked pretty tired because of her pregnancy, so we went back to the Crescent Moon pack house, and decided on resting until dinner to meet with our men. I went in to my own room, and decided on taking a quick shower before resting on the bed. I got dressed, and patted my hair dry with the towel. I combed my hair and added lotion on my body before going to bed. I soon fell asleep. Before long, I was caught in a dream that was so surreal. I'm walking through a beautiful forest. The ground feels soft, almost as if walking through the clouds. I felt so at peace walking through there. The trees looked so alive, the ferns glow and gleam with happiness and joy.

I can't remember exactly in the middle of which movie I must have drifted off to sleep, but the dream I had, was just as confusing as the ones I normally have. ~~~~~~~~ I ran through the woods barefooted, wearing a sky blue dress that flowed beautifully on me. It almost seemed the dress was specially made for me. My hair cascaded down in loose waves, and my feet were left barefoot. Maybe, I should be scared. But I sprinted carelessly through the woods, nonetheless. What exactly was I running for? Yet- I wasn't scared.
