Dreaming Walking Barefoot Novels & Stories

The voice grumbled. It was such a vivid dream that it appeared real. My feet touched the ground and I put them in the bunny slippers in front of me but first, I paused because the legs I had in this dream, rather than my pale, dried-up feet that could barely support my body, were strong and healthy to the point it made my eyes water. I had suffered so much that I was now dreaming of healthy feet!

She was walking on heels and I could see the blisters on her ankles but she was still walking with them. "I don't think we can find any places like where we want to stay. Let's just return to the car and sleep there tonight. I hope we can search for some alternative tomorrow,"she said. "Okay, ....but..., " I said. "But,... What?, " she replied instantly. "Will you be okay with your legs?, I think they are having blisters," I said. "Oh... This one...," she took out her shoes and started walking barefoot. How can I let the lady walk barefooted?

I felt like I only have a few hours of sleep. I sigh and get on my feet. I didn't bother wearing a slipper but I didn't forgot my silk robe before walking out of the room barefooted. The cold marble floor feels good to my sole. I don't really wear slipper when I am at home especially when I am in my apartment except when I am on a mission. I need to be careful not to leave any finger print or foot print that will lead to my identity.

I was deep inside of a vivid dream. I stood alone in a grassy field of dandelions. I was dressed in a two piece outfit that was as blue as the sky. The top looked like a frilly bra and the long skirt I wore billowed out around me. It almost looked like water flowing down into the grass. It was so long. There was a dense fog, I couldn’t see more than an arm’s length in front of me. I couldn’t just stand in one place and wait for the fog to clear so I began walking cautiously forward. I could feel the tender blades of grass under my bare feet as If I wasn’t asleep at all; I’d never had a dream feel so real to me.

Lysandra pov My bare feet moved cautiously over the cold, unforgiving ground, each step swallowed by a heavy, oppressive silence. Darkness stretched endlessly around me, no shapes, no horizon, only emptiness. I had been walking for what felt like days, relentlessly moving forward without ever glimpsing even the faintest spark of light. A disturbing thought crossed my mind. Was I dead? Had I crossed into some kind of purgatory after my death?

It wasn’t exactly hot, but she didn’t feel comfortable walking around either, especially since she was barefoot. "Why am I walking around without shoes on?" She asked herself, slowly gaining some consciousness of where she was and what was happening. She tried to find a huge shade to hide herself from the sun. She struggled to recall which of her previous lives she was in, but she was certain she hadn't seen this one yet. "At least this wasn’t a nightmare." She sat on the ground, not minding the dirt getting on her dress. She hugged her knees. Alice had never felt this comfortable in a dream before.

No matter, I'd be waiting no matter what time he decided to show up. By the time our house came into view, there was a hitch in my thigh, my foot was beyond sore and completely blistered. I huffed out as I tried to get in enough oxgyen to live. Oh God. That was officially the dumbest decision I ever made. Why did I walk barefoot over three miles to catch up with a man driving a sports car? The walk wasn't that long but after the trauma of the past few hours, my body was rebelling this new torture.

Another. “Stay with me.” Her lips didn’t move; they looked frozen shut. A pale sickly blue, cracked and bloody. Her eyelids fluttered, but never opened. I cleared the snow completely off her legs and feet, discovering the cuts and gashes on her feet. I took some of the powdery snow and cleared the worst of the muck off of her…trying not to break her frozen skin in the process. “Why would someone be walking through the woods barefoot, Zee?”

My body walked downstairs, my feet burning with every step, I felt like crying but I couldn't even move my lip. Surprisingly, I didn't trip once despite the dark hall. I prayed repeatedly to come across someone, but it was late and everyone was asleep. Am I sleepwalking? My feet made a squelching sound as I walked barefoot, probably leaving bloody footsteps behind. I could hardly feel the pain through my terror.

I stared at her as she walked. "What? Take it off too, it's ten o'clock, no one is watching us." My legs were sore from the heels already, so I used her shoulder as support and removed the heels. Walking barefooted felt so good. If Dylan was here, he would have ranted on and on about how it was unladylike to walk barefooted. -- Ryker's POV
