She doesn’t even spare me a glance as she turns and begins to run through the boundary. I can’t explain what I feel as I begin my trek back to that fucking house that I hate. I take down a lone deer on my way back. It isn’t my favorite thing to drink but I didn’t have time to catch a lone wolf trying to escape or wander into the human town for a quick bite but I do feel better having drank something fresh.

A herd of deer. We crash through pasture like starving animals. The deer take off. Normal wolves would be left behind, but we're shifters. The deer didn't stand a chance. They don't get very far before we have them circled. The bucks stabbing at us with their rack of sharp antlers. Fawns cower under their mothers. The mothers scream and but their heads at the snapping jaws. We descend on them like one giant monster. Blood and fur fly as the circle tightens and the wolves devour their way to the center of it.

She watched as the fish leapt again to land in the shallows and raced back and forth in silver streaks biting at the newly hatched flies in the calm pools. In a vicious swirl of water and smoke, a young buck deer rose up and stepped out of the shallows. His ears flicked in annoyance as cold water dripped off them. He turned his large eyes to regard Red and snorted softly before bounding off into the wood. A couple of hours later, After drinking soup for lunch and talking with his family, David returned to SSO. --- A herd of 8 deers calmly grazed inside the blood forest. Their horns were much smaller than their Earth's counterparts. Their fur was red with black spots, and their eyes were blue as the sky. One of them got distracted by a low whistle that came from one of the bushes and approached it.

A few hours later. I can't say I'm fully drunk; I'm a bit beyond tipsy, but I can still navigate. However, Elena is completely out of her mind drunk. We sway and dance unsteadily as we make our way to our rooms. I do my best to steady both Elena and myself as I pull her along to her room. Once inside her room, we collapse onto her bed. She turns away and starts laughing. "You're so drunk, Iron Man. I miss Diego, I hate Diego, I hate my mother, I hate everyone—except for Daddy."

I need food. I hop down the two-by-four bridging our platform and the plank and leap over Uncle Dewey. Per usual, he’s sprawled half-in and half-out of the trailer, rear paws dangling over the steps, snout mashed against the door frame. His fur reeks of beer. Sometimes he shifts back to his wolf before he finishes his drink, and he tries to lap the dregs. Then he ends up soaked or with his tongue stuck in the neck of a bottle. “Find anything?” my sister Drona asks from the kitchen table.

He grabbed for a drink, instantly sating his cold heart. He gulped down the throat-burning alcohol and let it fill that spot with a dizzying burn instead. As he began to wander, he scoured the forest in his drunken state, only stopping when he heard a familiar scream that echoed through the forest. He races to the scene, his eyes filling with deadly rage as he spots a large male lycan atop a crying female, his bitter and frailer scent a giveaway. Without hesitation, Draven attacked like the killing predator he was, showing no mercy as he imagined Verik’s face, his fists pushing into the male’s chest, leaving him for dead.

With a final pounce, Ethan's powerful jaws closed around the deer's neck, the bone-crushing bite ending its struggle. As the life drained from the deer's eyes, Ethan's consciousness returned in a rush of realization and horror. There was blood all over him, he was practically bather in it, he stumbled back from the mess he created. The conflicting emotions tore at his core, leaving him shaken and questioning his newfound existence.

In the distance, rolling hills rose beneath dense forests, where glowing vines wound through the trees like ribbons. At the heart of the sanctuary lay a clear lake, its water faintly tinted green. Their forked antlers shimmered with a glassy translucence, and their pale coats gleamed softly under the light of the glowing vines. They were the legendary Glasshorn Deer.

Within moments, the creature went still. We had done it. Sustenance for my starving pack. Gently, the three of us took the deer in our jaws and began dragging it homeward. The scent of fresh blood and meat set my stomach to growling ravenously. But I would not feed until the others had eaten.
