A window into how drunk and stupid people can be,? The truth is, yes you get spilled on, yes you rise and fall at unhuman hours in the day and yes its minimum wage. But you know what? It’s fun. I’m by far one of the happiest people in my entire course these days because, despite dragging myself around on the floor of our lectures in the early mornings, I always have a hilarious story to tell about what happened at work last night, besides, I don’t get bullied by anyone, I’ve left that horrible life behind me, and now I’m surrounded by a few friends who treat .e like family.

Who would win? “He’s just drunk,” said a bald man over by the bar. “You’re all going barmy over nothing.” He stood up, took a step forward like you do when you get to the bottom of the stairs and thinks there’s one more step when there isn’t, and went down like a very drunk sack of potatoes. I asked her what was wrong, but she didn’t respond. Some guys vomit when they take too much alcohol. I don’t. Some guys begin misbehaving when they take too much alcohol. I don’t either. What happens to me is that I get to laugh excessively, I get to possess the morale to do something I wouldn’t normally do, I get to spill out latent romantic lines that even someone who hated me would drool for and yes, my mamba too becomes vicious. I once asked a girl out when I was drunk, and she accepted. I can’t remember what I said to her, but this was someone who swore she would never go out with me – story for another day…

83 MILO’S POV We already had a couple of drinks and everyone seemed to have gotten a little drunker. The lads were starting to laugh louder and started becoming nosier which only happens when they have consumed an amount of alcohol. Jasper was getting a bit louder than his usual state when he is sober and he’s as loud as Silas’ laugh which is a hundred times more contagious now. When one is in a drunken state, they tend to speak gibberish. Yet, I did know that in most of the nonsense they spoke, there was sense in it. Their stories were from reality and maybe Jasmine had known a story like that before about something that had happened to someone like that.

He'd drown me, pull me out just in time whenever I was on the brink of death, laughing like it was all a big joke, only to dunk me under again. Suffocating, both literally and metaphorically," I let out a big laugh, "But hey, what doesn't kill you makes for one hell of a story," words tumbled out as I tried to lighten the mood.
