Rejected by His Brother, Fated to the Lycan King

Rejected by His Brother, Fated to the Lycan King

I stepped forward, my pulse quickening as I prepared for the duel. Caden, tall and imposing, regarded me with a mixture of contempt and amusement. He drew his sword, its blade gleaming in the morning light. I unsheathed my own weapon, feeling its familiar weight in my hand. The steel felt cold, but it was a comfort against the heat of the moment. The duel began, and Caden wasted no time in launching a fierce attack. His strikes were powerful and precise, each blow aimed to overwhelm and incapacitate. I blocked and parried with all my strength, every muscle in my body straining to keep up with his relentless assault.

The Alpha's Temptation

The Alpha's Temptation

Showing up at her house like that is a no no so I would have to see her at the academy, one way or another. "Take it easy son, when you feel a bit at ease you can come down. The duels are about to begin, the moon is almost at its highest peak", he said as I remembered the battles that will be happening. When the moon is at its highest peak pack members challenge each other. It was just a way to showcase each other's strength and it wasn't intended to harm anyone. "I'll be there soon", I replied as he nod and touched my shoulder before walking out.

Ravens of Eternity

Ravens of Eternity

she said. Just as Gravoss was almost back in his seat, he jumped back up again. This time, his face was dark, and anger seethed through his teeth. The other two glanced at each other as this was happening. Both grinned evilly as they realized the opportunity that was in front of them. “The human duelist,” continued his assistant, “was sponsored by Szereth Design Group, Terra Firma Bladeworks, and some private citizens.” Gravoss was completely incensed by what he heard, and lost all vestiges of control. He threw his half-finished drink into the corner, and smashed the glass to pieces.

By the title itself, it was already something that would hook anyone immediately. And after reading a few chapters, indeed it was great. I really love reborn books/novels and I am not disappointed one bit at all! Love the Mc by the way.

It's great to read a book that the first scene is in outer space. Eva is calm, strong and you describe the background well enough to make me imagine it figuratively. Nothing to complain here. It's just perfect :)

Aetherion Academia #1: Shadows of Rebirth

Aetherion Academia #1: Shadows of Rebirth

The next day, [Rina P.O.V] The arena woke before the sun. I felt it through the floorboards of the outcast wing, a low harmonic thrum that vibrated in the brand on my wrist and echoed in the hollow where Silvie slept. The Academy's dueling season resumed with the turning of the autumn moon, a tradition older than the Council itself: weekly combat for honor, rank, and the settling of debts that the law refused to touch. By dawn, the sandstone amphitheater would fill with spectators. By noon, blood would dry on the marble.

Blood Oath Academy

Blood Oath Academy

Maelik said. “I know.” “That alone is enough to make half the Dominion think the academy is on fire.” “It nearly was.” Maelik’s gaze slid toward him. “I heard.” Of course, he had. Nothing truly stayed contained at Blood Oath Academy, least of all a summoning gone wrong in the central ritual chamber. Theron kept his eyes on the grounds below. “Then you know I had other priorities.” Maelik was silent for a moment. Then, “The girl.” not a question. Theron’s jaw tightened. “Her name is Virelle.”

Rebirth of the Luckiest Failure

Rebirth of the Luckiest Failure

Mira considered the question. "Because you are the most interesting thing to happen at this academy in several years," she said. "And because I think you are going to need someone who pays attention." She said it without drama, and directly, the way she said most things. Kael looked at his tea. "I appreciate it," he said. Mira nodded and turned another page. "The duel is tomorrow morning. First training yard. Open spectator format, which means the whole school will be watching." Kael closed his eyes briefly.

REJECTED LUNA CLAIMED BY TWO ALPHAS

REJECTED LUNA CLAIMED BY TWO ALPHAS

Pain flashed across his face, real pain, it was like I had just handed myself to death. Serena looked pleased, too pleased and that alone made fear moved through my stomach. Then Kael stepped between us before the argument grew worse. “This is not the place.” Darius glared at him instantly. “You think this is acceptable?” “No,” Kael answered sharply. “But she made her choice.” I hated how both of them looked at me, it was like I was already breaking apart in front of them and one Alpha slammed his hand against the table loudly. “The ritual duel happens tomorrow night.”

Disguised At The Wolf Academy: Rooming With The Two Alphas

Disguised At The Wolf Academy: Rooming With The Two Alphas

"Welcome to your first trial. The Combat Duels." I cleared my throat awkwardly. "At the end of this trial, you will receive your initial rankings," he continued. "These rankings will determine your class placements, your training schedules, and your privileges within the academy. You will work your way up through weekly trials. And at the end of each week, the students with the lowest rankings will be expelled. Only the top performers are safe." Murmurs rippled through the circle. Some students looked excited and others looked terrified. I was firmly in the terrified camp.

Rejected by Duke Taken by Ace

Rejected by Duke Taken by Ace

Or was she the only friend in their friendship this whole time, and Lupa, on the other hand, wasn’t? Duke got up, looking disheveled and satisfied. He then walked over to the door, unlocked and opened it wide. The cold in his eyes returned as he looked at Minsi, disgust written all over his face. “I hereby reject you, Minsi. I will never take you as my mate and Luna! From now on, you are banished. Take your things and get out of my pack. Now!”

Ember Academy

Ember Academy

"All I would ask in return is loyalty. When it matters. And it will matter, Sera, sooner than you think." "Loyalty to what, exactly." "To the house that decided to protect you, instead of merely study you." Cassia leaned in slightly, and her voice dropped, gentler now, almost kind, and that was somehow the worst part of all of it, how easy the kindness sounded, how practiced. "You're new here. You don't yet understand how this academy actually works. The masters teach the lessons. But the noble houses decide who survives them." Her eyes held Sera's, steady, patient. "I would very much like you to survive, Sera. I'd like that a great deal."
