Stone towers stretched toward a gray, sunless sky, their edges sharp enough to cut. The courtyard was vast, yet suffocating, filled with the quiet tension of unspoken rules. Scars marked the ground—burns, cracks, stains that no amount of rain could wash away. This wasn’t a school. It was a battlefield disguised as one.

ZANAYA My heartbeat matched pace with the beat of the drum, but I felt like it was even stronger. Beads of sweat were forming on my forehead, and my hands were clammy as well. I always thought I would just live a normal life, not until I got into this Academy. Since then, my life was never the same. I met new friends, discovered more about my self, and learned that the world was not what I thought it was.

In the first two years of the academy, we will introduce basic subjects like how to control their power, how to defend themselves, about different species, etc. In the last two years of the academy, they will choose a particular field to work for their career. Those respective fields are - Teaching, Research, Defence, medicine, warriors, tracking, or intellectual teams. The different tournaments are also going to be there to test their knowledge and strength. Students will stay in the dorm while they study at the Witches Academy. There will be different dorms for boys, girls, and staff. The name of the academy will be the Red Moon Academy. The elders specified in the respective field will be

Savannah said, with a hard glare. “Okay, okay! Jeez … what kind of best friend do you have, babe?” Avan asked, with a mischievous grin, stealing one last glance at me again before finally focusing on the road. I just giggled, loving the sibling energy he and Savannah always had whenever we were together. Without another word, Avan drove us through the grand entrance of Werewolf Academia. I was amazed by the way the campus sprawled with majestic Gothic buildings, lush forests, and manicured lawns.

"In the previous sessions, we lost a lot of students. Even before that, we lost many. So, it's been that way every session, Kelani. This is Mystic Academy, a school to fight monsters and endanger ourselves in the process. No one cares about us, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't care about ourselves." “We want to see your room before we go.” My first instinct is suspicion. My parents have never been the type to care about my living space—only whether it was clean enough not to embarrass them. But for once, they actually seem… interested? I’m caught between cautious hope and the overwhelming urge to tell them no. Instead, I nod. “Sure. This way.” I lead them through the winding corridors, hyper-aware of the towering walls and candlelit chandeliers that give the academy its old-world charm. Chapter Five **** The air in the dueling chamber crackled with tension, and I could feel it pressing against my skin like static. The marble floor was slick beneath my boots, and the high vaulted ceiling echoed every whisper of breath around me. Blackmoor Academy’s Dueling Hall was supposed to be a place for control—where students learned precision, restraint, power. But I hadn’t come here to learn. I came here to survive.

I stood still, my eyes fixed on the overly large gate that displayed Dunaris Academy over it. My mind now in a zone they call peaceful chaos as I was about to enter the enemy zone with no preparation whatsoever, and I was now going in as some kind of spy, in an all-alpha academy. Yeah… What the hell!

Zephyr pulled out his phone, using its light to navigate, leading me deeper into the tunnels. "What is this place?" "Old bunkers from the war. The academy was built on a military installation. These tunnels run for miles." He paused at an intersection, choosing the left path without hesitation. "Very few know they exist." "How do you?" "Because I make it my business to know every secret this place holds. Or I thought I did." He glanced back at me. "You're the one secret I didn't see coming." We descended deeper, the air growing colder, older. Finally, he stopped in a circular chamber with multiple exits. Strange symbols covered the walls—similar to the ones in the book he'd given me.
