Tania's POV I was barely touching the tiramisu in front of me, the bitter sweetness failing to reach my nerves, when the television flickered. West’s attention was buried in his laptop, fingers moving across the keyboard, his jaw set in an unreadable way and it made him look like he was calculating the end of the world. And then the screen cut to Damian. He was smiling, impossibly self-assured, with Kella by his side. Her hand rested lightly on his arm, the kind of intimacy we never had, that made my chest tighten with a cocktail of anger, disbelief, and fear. The chyron below screamed in bold letters:

She was with fucking Xavier, slow dancing to the music, smiling and laughing. Xander has a crush on his biggest competitor and potential partner, this is both good and bad because either he decides to hate her and ruin her life, making himself much worse than Hitler and Trump or he could fall in love with her, and the world would be restored to its former glory. Or he could lose everything including his dead father's trust and it was also good because maybe he can finally stop being a sexist and partially racist prick but right now, he could be heading in the right direction which is a good thing. In fact, this is the only time I’ve ever told anyone. Alpha Darius wants me to stay in Dark Flame because he has a crush on me. Demian looked at him indignantly "You spoke to her last time, don't be greedy." *Xavier talks to her every day* He said quickly, making Xavier look at him angrily

He asked wiping his tears. "Yes, now uncle damian will help you to hide. If you won I will buy you a new video game, so be a good boy..." Skyler's face turned happy and he jumped in excitement. "Yeah! Video game. Ok daddy l'll be a good boy..." He quickly replied. "That's like my champ. Love you..." He said and damian disconnected the call. "See I was telling you that only?..."

So when Alpha Xander met with my father nearly a decade ago to propose his plan with my father, I immediately agreed. I had hoped that over time, Darius would grow to love me, as if I was his true mate. We all knew that Darius wouldn't openly agree to our plan unless he was made to believe that I was in fact his true mate. I was leery of Alpha Xander's plan at first, however, he had informed me that he had already thought of everything. Alpha Xander had even contacted a witch that supplied him with a potion to make Darius think that I was his true mate. It worked in the beginning, but for some reason, the effects of it had worn off.

No!!” Xander suddenly growled, clutching his head and then suddenly he stopped. His breathing uneven and then slowly he turned. I almost came at the sight in front of me as a smirk took over my lips. “Hello Dario, I've missed you," I said as I bit my lips. The look in his eyes was dangerous, the delicious type of dangerous. The one that promised nothing but pleasure and punishment.

I roamed my eyes and I'm still in the same room and Thamer was still wearing his blue shirt. He laughed at me. " What are you saying? I'm not Thamer okay, my name is Xander!" He told me. I tried to protest when Damon came in. " You're awake my dear. Xander meet my girlfriend, Diana" he told him like nothing happened earlier.
