The Abandoned Luna's Return
I felt the Reaper ships firing, their purple beams hitting the shadow-shroud and dissipating like mist.
And then, a sound like a thunderclap heard from the center of the sun.
The white-out returned. But this time, it wasn't empty.
When I opened my eyes, the emerald grid was gone. The Void was gone.
A massive, warm, yellow light was flooding the Observatory.
The Sun.
We were back. But we weren't alone.
The Earth was now orbiting the Sun, but it was three times its original size. The "Intersection" had become permanent. We had brought the multiversal data back with us. The moon was now a shimmering crystalline sphere, and the sky was a deep, vibrant violet.
