I sighed and rubbed my neck, "And I know you loved your wife very much. And I hope one day you will find a mate that will ease your pain Brother." Noah nods and pats my shoulder, "I get it, Xander. I do." My ears perk up as I hear a twig snap in the distance. Noah and I are both on edge as we stand ready to fight. My eye catches the bush beside the tree shaking. The cubicle door splintered under Nero’s kick, revealing Eddy straddling the waiter, her skirt hiked up, panties discarded on the grimy floor. She froze, mid-motion, her eyes wide with shock. The waiter opened his mouth to yell, but Nero’s palm struck like lightning, knocking him out cold. Eddy’s curse was cut short as Nero seized her by the collar, yanking her off the unconscious man. “Where’s Natasha?” he growled, his voice a low, dangerous rumble.

There was still a lot of information about shares and debts, and everyone in the room could hear it. Chris stood at the doorway, occasionally catching a glimpse of the situation downstairs. Eddie stood downstairs on the phone, though no one knew who he was speaking with. His expression was grim, and he rambled on about something, glancing back from time to time to see if Blake had returned. “What’s the next move?” Sam asked. “Horizon Media no longer has a chance to ask questions, but we still have public questions coming. Eddie’s personality guarantees he won’t stop until he reaches his goal; he’ll definitely say something.”

I said seriously, as i slowly walk closer to the portal which is now still bright. This is the path that we all dream of. Being in the world of Echor. World where we belong. I smiled happily. Eddie followed their stares, but the moment his eyes landed on Stellar, his entire body froze. Stellar let out a cold laugh and stepped through the crowd, stopping directly in front of him. ********** Lorenzo's POV The person on the other end of the door didn't wait for my permission before twisting the lock and pushing the door in. Making his way into his study was no other person than Eddie who had a hand stuck in his pocket and a mocking smile playing on the side of his lips. “I heard what happened.” He began. Rolling my eyes to the back of his head, I plopped on my chair only to pull out a file, feigning to be busy. “That's the least of my problems, you know.” Now resting his weight on the table, he spoke with a grave voice, “When did you become so caring that you risked your life for someone?” He huffed.

Even from a distance, someone who looked still sleepy became aware, because the smackdown scene looked so perfect that it made his eyes open. "Wow! Is that Mr. Dante?" Exclaimed Eddie, who was none other than the man who woke up from his heavy sleep earlier. "I told you, don't you dare deal." I mumbled to someone who turned out to be the genius. "Hmp!" The bodyguard muttered back.

Alexander’s Perspective Eddy showed up past midnight, the crunch of gravel under his boots giving him away before he even knocked. I didn’t bother looking up until he dropped onto the couch opposite me, stretching like he owned the place. “She’s home,” he said after a moment, voice casual. “Delivered safe and sound, just like you asked. Though I’ve gotta say…” His grin sharpened. “You really missed out. You could’ve gone yourself, you know—chance to pick her up and all.”
