Harvey says it's hard for her alone, so she's temporarily living with us. I say no, and Harvey warns me to know my place. His scornful tone seems to hint that he's forgotten this villa was a wedding gift to me. He and his family have been leeching off me for the past five years. This time, I'm cutting all of them off. I smile and call my assistant. "Draw up a divorce agreement for me now. To think a live-in husband would have the nerve to bring his mistress home so boldly."

Chasing Sunlight

Kiran Black is the new kid at Glenrose High School after his parent's divorce and his move to Oregon with his mother, and he’s less than excited to be starting all over. Being the new kid in school is never easy, especially when you just want to be left alone and the greeting committee is none other than Aurora Williams – the most annoyingly perky person he has ever met. Her name alone means dawn and protection, so she lives up to the name of “being the light” for everyone around her. As annoying as she was, something about her interested Kiran. He knew with every light there was a shadow, and a part of him wanted to find the darkness inside that ray of sunshine. No one is naturally that happy, everyone is fighting their own battle, and Kiran was becoming obsessed with finding her demons. Will Aurora show Kiran the light? Where Regret Hangs Like Mist

Where Regret Hangs Like Mist

My Alpha mate, Ross, and I were known as the most resentful couple. He hated me for allegedly swapping his sister's antidote, which led to her death from wolfsbane poisoning. On the other hand, I despised him for turning a blind eye when my younger brother was bullied, abandoning him to die alone in the pitch-black forbidden forest. Upon hearing the news, he sneered and spoke to me for the first time in ages, "This is your karma." When I was three months pregnant, I was kidnapped by an enemy pack. As I was left bleeding from the torture and my unborn child slipping away, the enemy demanded he surrender his western territory in exchange for saving his Luna. However, he just scoffed. "It's about time to stop this act. Tell Jenny that I'm not falling for this. Don't even think of watching me make a fool of myself." In the end, I lost everything—just as he wished, as if it was my retribution. So, why did he regret everything?

Airiane
Hello Airiane here! Greetings to everyone visiting my book :) I would greatly appreciate it if you leave reviews and comments. Formerly "My Lover's Fangs". Heart of Promise has reached it's second season now. I hope Barrett will capture your hearts! That's a promise!

The start of the story is in itself quite passionate and makes you want to read more. I liked how the clues keep popping out regarding what exactly happened to the manager. My recommendation at this time would be to leave less space in between the paragraphs as it seems to be too big sometimes.

I Walked Away After Seven Letdowns

I Walked Away After Seven Letdowns

The seventh time Claire Fisher bailed on our marriage license appointment, I finally cut her out of my life—for good. From then on, if she was at a party, I wasn't. When she was scheduled to perform at our college's anniversary celebration, I made sure to leave early. The moment my company announced a collaboration with hers, I resigned without a second thought. Even on Christmas Eve, when she showed up at my parents' house with gifts, I slipped out with a half-hearted excuse about "visiting a friend." I blocked her number. Deleted her from my contacts. Burned every bridge and salted the earth behind me. No calls. No texts. No social media. I didn't reach out. She couldn't reach me. Simple as that. For the better part of my life, I was hopelessly in love with her—waiting on her, caring for her, putting her first in every way that mattered. I gave her all of me without ever holding back. But after the seventh time she left me sitting alone at the City Hall, something inside me broke. I was done. If that meant spending the rest of my life alone, so be it. Better that than sitting in an empty apartment, listening to the silence, holding on to hope for someone who never planned to show up.
