I smelled the marker after opening it. God! How much do I adore that scent? Biting my lower lip in concentration, I drew a face resembling mine on his chest, near his heart. Mom always said I had the drawing ability of a four-year-old, and when I look at my masterwork, I don't disagree. The nose was shaped like a 'c,' and one eye was small and the other was large, both without lashes or a brow. My first thought for hair was wavy, but it turned out curly. Whatever it is, it is more than enough to agitate him.

Junior says as he jumps in excitement holding Edwards hands. They both had good time shopping...From there, they heads straight up to Unisex Salon to have their haircut. One of the women’s hair was done with a yellow pencil while the other was black, the child had tiny dots around her head to imitate hair, but what they all had in common was the yellow circles hovering over their heads and the triangle wings.

Immediately she sees me, she runs to me and gives me the tightest hug. “Ella-mama!” This is exactly what I was looking for. “Come see, I drew you and daddy.” She tells me as she picks the drawing and holds it up for me to see. “Wow, isn't that beautiful?!” It has two tall stick figures, one with long hair and one with a hockey stick. It's clear who is who at that point. Between the two tall figures, is a smaller stick figure. “Let me guess, that is you.” I say to her as I point to it.

Edgar caught hold of a thick branch and easily pulled himself up on his hands, his bare feet deftly ran up the dry bark. It's business as usual. The guy chose a convenient fork between the branches and sat down, comfortably crossing his legs. He carefully pulled out a plump notebook and a special drawing charcoal from a canvas bag. He wiped his forehead and tossed a tight, blond braid behind his back, so as not to interfere. He let his hair grow in the manner of the Markats, trying to at least be like everyone else in this, at least to seem normal, but it still didn’t help.

“Not yet.” He nodded, accepting it. “Then I’ll wait. As long as it takes.” “You say that like it’s simple.” “It is,” he said. “Because I lost you once. I’m not making that mistake again.” Before she could respond, Eira ran back in with her drawing pad, insisting on showing off the sketch she’d been working on. It was crude and colorful.
