I absolutely did not plan for this or them to be what they turned out to be. Across the desk was supposed to be an erotic book that took a nasty turn and thr Insanity series was born. Max and Deanna have become a major part of me now. They will be back in the next book of the nightmare series.

While she was trying to figure out what was on Edge's mind, the guards returned to the car. "Hey, what the hell is this? What are you trying to do?" Light tried to open the doors, but they were all locked, so she started tapping on the windows restlessly. One of the windows in the backseat was rolled down. With a gloomy look on his face, Edge said, "This is a werewolf cemetery for rogues. Stay here and reflect on what you have done." Here? Didn't he know that she was absolutely terrified of darkness? If she couldn't deal with the fears in the pack house, how would she deal with them alone in a rogue cemetery? Terror gripped her entire body in an instant.

Gabriel said Eden sighed and licked his lips. "I've heard you, father," He said. "I saw something in you on the day you defeated Ray" Gabriel said and Eden looked at him curiously "There was a kind of darkness that overshadowed you on that day. Or at least in most stories, each of them is considered rather evil creatures, children of Darkness. But there are stories where even messengers of Light, beings who should deal better with temptation than we, weak humans, sometimes succumb to the power of the Darkness. There are also times when the children of the Darkness discover such feelings as love, which in turn draws them to the Light. Many times the being from Light connects with the one from Darkness, creating a beautiful, but always very sad and desperate love story - because in most cases neither Light nor Darkness want their representatives to mix with each other.

They or we? The other party that threw our world into chaos was the self-proclaimed animal welfare organization Live for Animals. In an act of charity they broke into Doctor Christopher Krynick's research laboratory to bring the animals to safety. Unfortunately they had no idea what was going on and a well-meaning rescue operation turned into a global catastrophe. The proles first killed their rescuers and then escaped from the research facility to bring a plague of unprecedented proportions to the world.
