He shook his head at Drake, motioning for him to leave as he stood in front of me, knowing that I was going to make a fuss out of this. He was not going to have me working with a Mafia boss. He did not lose his mind that much, right? The fact that he had called me himself was something that confused me. I continued around the table, pouring wine for the men first, and then made my way to Alphonse’s wife, Elizabeth. As I reached for her glass, she shook her head, her hand resting on her stomach. Her eyes sparkled as she gave me a small smile, and I instantly understood. She was pregnant.

As soon as he heard Adelia's voice, Adelia's father immediately opened the door curiously. “Uh, who is that guy? Why isn't it Afgan? Why did you come home with another man? Uh, what a nice car!” Before Adelia could answer her father's question, the old man was already staring in amazement at Edward's black sports car. Edward just smiled warmly and then introduced himself to Adelia's father politely. “Introductions, my name is Edward Ofel.”
