I saw the look of fear and dread on Cullen's face as he gulped once, then followed his orders. Cullen closed his eyes and tilted his head just a little. I noticed that Cullen and Calix were almost the exact same height. Both of them had such unique looks that it was like staring at something straight out of a movie, like two high-profile actors filming a scene in my house. Cullen, with his eyes closed and head tilted back, inhaled deeply. I saw the flare of his nostrils and he picked up whatever it was he was supposed to be sensing. His head tilted to the side on instinct, trying to follow the scent trail.

“I’d think you’d be begging for more.” When he threw his head back while laughing at his own sick humor, Edwin seized the moment and twisted from beneath him. Before the vampire could grasp what was happening, he grabbed his head with both hands and pulled with all his might. A loud popping sound pummeled his eardrums as the vampire’s body fell limp to the ground. Not wanting to take a chance on the vampire coming back to life, and remembering a scene from the Twilight saga, he tossed a lit match on the headless body. It immediately burst into flames.

Meredith had not ever seen a Mercedes like that before. The color was a dark cool grey that looked almost bullet-like as though the car itself could go the speed of a bullet. Meredith didn’t doubt such speed was a possibility for the convertible. Meredith had never really thought or wondered what kind of car Edward drove. What she saw seemed very fitting for the god of charm. “What kind of car is this?” Meredith asked as he held her door for her. “It’s a GT C,” Edward said with a tone of indifference as though it was just his errand car and his real luxury car was at home for special occasions. Meredith didn’t doubt that as a possibility either.

Cullen didn't answer me, he just focused on the road. "Did you have to lie to them that I'm your mate? Last I checked, I was your sister, and you already found your mate." I folded my arms over my chest where irritation was starting to build up. Still, he didn't glance at me. "Whatever sick plan you have going on, just know that it's never going to happen. I'll never be yours..." He hit the brake with so much force it almost sent me flying to the windshield. Before I could steady myself he unbuckled my seat belt and yanked me onto his thighs. I looked at his face; his fangs were already elongated, and his eyes glowing blue.

She instantly made eye contact with carroty orange orbs. Their unswervingly bright colour harked back to her remembrance of Edward Cullen, a fictional character from the Twilight Saga novels. She got startled and felt some electricity. “Mr. CEO Cullen, why?” She asked. Cullen then looked at her and smiled like an angel. Heart blushed and looked away.
