The Marvelous Elijah's Return

The Marvelous Elijah's Return

Immediately, she felt uneasy in her own house as her heart started to beat faster, dread and anxiety creeping upon her as she asked, “What’s the matter, Elm?” “Why is he not dead yet?! Why is Elijah still breathing!!” Elmer exclaimed with a harsh growl. Startled by his question, Madam Jewel stared at him in confusion and fear and asked, ”What did that rat do this time?” “He just declared war on us!! Elijah has the documents... he has all the damn files and he's using it to get me behind bars!” Elmer roared, pacing around the room. Those words left Madam Jewel speechless and in shock, her eyes widened as doubt forced her to not believe that her family was slowly getting dragged deeper and d

Emerald (Book #1 of the Jewel Series)

Emerald (Book #1 of the Jewel Series)

Jackson explains. We all race out the front door, and that’s when we hear the roar. I see Helm take off towards the direction where the roar came from as he shifts in mid-stride. Fuck, his tiger is huge. I have a feeling that mom is with Esme, and something tells me that Emerald is there as well. The rest of us follow Helm. Jason tells the women to stay inside and lock the door. Nalena tells him not to worry. I have a feeling that she and Rich will be using their magic to keep everyone safe. We finally make it to where the roar came from, and the scene is terrible. They have all three of the women cornered. I freeze when I see Emerald, she has shifted, and fuck does she look scary

Esmerelda Sleuth: The Other Side of the Mirror (Book 1)

Esmerelda Sleuth: The Other Side of the Mirror (Book 1)

Lance said with a harsh tone. Whether she’d been planning it all along, or whether it was his harsh and disapproving tone and mannerisms that spurred her on, I couldn’t say. All I can say is that she shocked the living daylights out of both Lance and me with her next sentence. “I heard a rumor that Jason has been slipping into Esmerelda’s room during the night. If that is true, she will have very little magic left to share with you, dear Lance.” “That is a false rumor,” Lance roared. “I will hear no more of it!”

Colorless

Colorless

Until I got to the entry of a name. Amelia Verran. The entry was wrong. Too short. Too vague. “Transferred to auxiliary pack under Alpha’s discretion.” No reason. No details, nothing. The Moonblood Records were obsessive in their detail. They recorded quarrels over land, petty disputes, even marriages that lasted mere weeks. Yet Amelia Verran vanished into thin air. There was also the unmistakable scent of Jasmine lingering on it. She had been interested in this very book. I snapped the book shut, the sound echoing through the cavernous shelves. My heart pounded with vicious excitement. Whatever truth was buried here, it was tied to Jasmine. I could feel it in my bones.

Betrayed soul’s vengeance

Betrayed soul’s vengeance

I chilled as the vision dissolved. I stood by a small table in an isolated corner of the mansion. I placed an old, creased journal into my hand. I stopped and then opened the book. "What are you reading?" I exclaimed. Tidy writing covered the pages with talk of covenants and hidden treaties. I learned secrets about Jasmine's history with Alex from reading the book. There were hints of vows and black rituals and a hidden encounter that changed it all. And I heard the echo of footsteps. "Jasmine, are you reading memories?" a soft voice called behind me. I turned and looked at a young maid standing behind me with soft eyes. "Yes," I snapped, "I have to know who I am in this body."

Fangs of Fate

Fangs of Fate

They wandered through the aisles, running their fingers along spines that held countless worlds within their pages. Emily's eyes sparkled with excitement as she plucked a weathered book from the shelf. "Liam, look at this," she exclaimed, her voice filled with wonder. "It's a collection of love letters from different eras. Each page holds the raw emotions of someone's heart."

Reborn Queen

Reborn Queen

"So, where did you end up going? If you weren't out partying till the wee hours of the morning, then you were probably staying up reading manhwa. Or a novel?." "Ah... You have to understand that I just can't stop myself, Esme; your books are just too fantastic!" Emma spoke in a whisper. It is inappropriate to reveal the fact that Esme is a novelist because it is a well-kept secret. "Really?". "Can you imagine! The surprise in the narrative was so incredible, and the way in which you removed the plot armor from the woman who believed she was the female protagonist was just so good!! It's not that Esme didn't appreciate the book; it's just that once Emma started talking about it, she couldn't

"How is it that this other actress and not their so much-loved Esme..." First of all, stick to your tenses, and stop using past and present together, second of all, try putting the punctuation marks inside the close quote and not outside. Example, do this; "Esme is good." not this; "Esme is bad".

So many errors in your work, and yet you claim my favorite writer's book has grammar issues. This is so not nice. Try ready the description of your book. It's a nice place to start vetting what you've written so far.

A Crush I Can't date (My Goodnovel Crush)

A Crush I Can't date (My Goodnovel Crush)

Books by John Grisham, Sidney Sheldon, Colleen Hoover, James Patterson and Ted Dekker. Jamaal Amir Haidar reads novels, crime most especially. I'm even shocked to see he reads Colleen Hoover's books too. I picked one of the books and began to smell the fresh scent of newly printed books. The door opened suddenly, Jamaal stepped in with little Ahmad in his arms. The little boy had his hands wrapped around his brother's neck. I stared at Jamaal in shock, seeing Jamaal holding his younger brother, trying to lure him to sleep shocked me.

Her Returned Perfect Revenge Billionaire Ex-wife

Her Returned Perfect Revenge Billionaire Ex-wife

Elisa replied excitedly. Elisa meant what she said. A stack of books was on the table, and she was busy flipping through each one and reading quickly. Once in a while, Felix glances at Elisa, his reading glasses framing his face. Felix's hands were busy putting signatures on file folders and reading the sales reports sent via email. "Where's the second series? This book is so exciting; I'm annoyed that I must read a truncated book," Elisa muttered. Closing the fantasy novel tightly in her hand, her lips pursed as she stared at Felix, who was busy staring at the computer screen.

TEMPT ME, MASTER

TEMPT ME, MASTER

She pushed it open. It was a library. There were thousands of books. They went all the way from the floor to the high ceiling. The room smelled like old paper and honey. In the center of the room, there was a small desk with one very old book on it. The book was open. Elara walked to the desk. She began to read. The words were simple, but they told a scary story. The book was about Silas and his family. It told the secret of the curse.
