Her eyes flicked past me to Hazel’s bare body and then snapped back to my face, still mid-complaint. “I’m Ellie. Next door. The wall’s… really thin.” Her voice was the same…low, and authoritative. “I’ve got early shifts. Any chance you two could keep it down?” I stared at her. The glasses were new. The soft mouth was the same. The way she held herself like she still owned every room she walked into was exactly the same. Maddie After washing the crying stains out of my pillowcase, I hang it up on the shower curtain rod and step into the living room area of my suite. Ellie is still not back from wherever she went. I’d love to have her to talk to right now, but she probably had to go help some of the other staff members or something. I can’t take up all of her time, after all. There’s a lot to be done in a place as big as this castle.

Ellie gave her a stunning smile and left the room. "Bitch!" Ellie hissed to the portraits on the walls as she stalked down the hallway and back to the kitchen. "What an absolute bitch!" She felt like kicking something, or someone, preferably Charlotte Ganderton's arse. Well, she would see if her man would like to go back to his first shag. That is her department, I just understand how they work, not what they are made of. When the walls are activated they have an electric charge and are completely soundproof. Think of it as an industrial sized cow fence. We had to stay clear of the walls by at least ten feet. She hasn't completely figured out how to put the charge just on the inside yet.
