Kallum's jaw twitched. "Emmett. That's his name." Pulling out a big loose black shirt and panty briefs, I let the towel drop, reveling in the sharp intake of breath coming from them. I could feel their eyes trace over my figure and their possessive instincts stirring. "He's a good man," I said, trying to choose my words carefully. He's always appeared to be the most relaxed out of all of us, but behind those blue eyes and calm demeanour is a monster just like the rest of us. It's his easy smile and his steel blue eyes that make him a dangerous predator.

They are led to the throne room where the queen of the witches sits. A woman steps forward and approaches the group. “Hello Rex, welcome back and who are they? So I can introduce them to the queen? " asks the woman. “I am Hector. Nice to meet you,” says Hector. “I am Ash. Lovely to meet you,.” says Ash. “I am Ruby, beautiful dress, .” says Ruby. The woman smiles and steps back. “My queen: Rex, Hector, Ash and Ruby from Ember City,” says the woman. The queen motions them forward. Hector and Rex come forward. Ash and Ruby stay back a few feet. All bow lightly out of respect for the queen.

He navigated the darkness without hesitation, the way wolves always did, and settled into a chair beyond the candle's reach, his posture relaxed but precise.

However, before she could utter a word, Tyler’s arrogant voice drifted over, dripping with superiority. “So what if you do? By the time we’re in court, everyone will already believe you’re a fraud. Who’s going to listen to a word you say?!” He sauntered over, dressed head to toe in designer brands like a nouveau riche caricature, with a small box dangling from his hand. As he caught sight of my restrained figure, he let the box slip from his fingers. It clattered to the floor along with a jade bracelet that fell out of it. The bracelet shattered into several pieces.

The red car was gone, driven away by Leo. “Miss,” a voice called from behind her. Tara froze, her heart skipping a beat. The voice sounded familiar. She turned and saw a man with sandy blond hair and sharp features, clearly of mixed heritage. He looked to be in his thirties, with deep-set eyes and a prominent nose. His appearance was decent enough, but his gaze carried an unsettling mix of slyness and malice that made her uncomfortable. He extended his hand. “I'm Wesley Lima from Genovia.”
