By Tuesday afternoon, Manatee High felt louder than usual. Maybe it was the way everyone buzzed with the kind of energy that meant a break was close. The long weekend was coming, and most people already had plans. Emma didn’t—at least not yet. The bell rang for lunch, and Emma followed the usual crowd to the cafeteria. She spotted Connor sitting at their usual table with Ethan, Liam, and Chelsea. Ethan was talking fast, excitement written all over his face, while Connor laughed at something Chelsea said.

I think the Emmet name is cute, reminded me of a chipmunk. Emmet and I talked so well and it was really nice. We knew nothing about each other except for our names, but we talked before and after my therapy sessions. Emmet was my cry towel when ever the therapy session hit an emotional spot. He was always smiling and his smile was a very contagious one. Speaking of contagious, I found myself wearing a smile as bright as his. I wish I had his dimples to complete the look. "I'm going to be alone and new there." I finally broke the awkward silence and stared at my grey sweatpants.

“He said him and Tiffany’s parents will come by tomorrow to see the babies. Aunty Josie and Aunty Cassie are flying in, in the morning too.” “That’s wonderful” she whispers before falling asleep. Emmett kisses her forehead before placing a kiss on each of the baby’s heads and tiptoes out of the room to the cafeteria to get something to eat. “Twins, a boy and a girl” he whispers to himself, turning back to look at the babies again before shutting the door. The beaming smile never leaving his face. Once outside the door; Emmett runs into Cheryl, bringing Jonathon and Zachary in to see Simone. “Simone’s asleep” he whispers shutting the door behind him.

He noticed that the man in front of him seemed wealthy. “Hi, Emmett!” Emmett just smiled and rolled up his white long sleeves to his elbows. “My shift is over, sir. I have to join my friends’ party over there,” Emmett pointed to where his friends were and smiled at Adrian. “Do you want to join us, sir?” Adrian shook his head and bit his lip. “No, I’m fine. Go. Thank you for your assistance,” Adrian said with a smile. Emmett nodded and touched Adrian’s shoulder, causing him to look at Emmett’s hand.

“It’s strange seeing you prance around like a smiling ballerina. What’s going on and why are you so happy? I almost thought it’s the start of the apocalypse.” I chuckle at her joke. “Well, if you must know… My boy Emmett just shifted. And I was there to guide him.” Heather snaps into attention, and I see a glimmer of a smile appearing on her lips. “Well, that’s just wonderful! He seems… quite young for such a feat though, I have to admit.” I shrug. “Well, he is part white wolf, it happens to them. He’s black and white, though, and he’s perfect. Everything about it is perfect.”

For a moment I thought he had died of a heart attack with how still he was being. "He wants me?" He asked, a broken part of him coming out in his voice. "Yes, Emerson. He wants you. Apparently your given name is Emmet." "Emmet." He repeated. Tally took his hand, flashing him a big grin. "Big bad wolf has a big soft heart." She poked him in the chest teasingly, causing Emerson to give her a small smile.

He asked, staring at them, he let out a huge sigh, though it didn't seem right he needed to let them be, he walked out of the light room shutting the door, they needed privacy and if any pack member stumbled upon them they wouldn't be pleased so he had to restrict the areas. "Attention everyone, Alpha Damien restricts all movement in the light room as there have been some issues, so keep off" he announces in the pack mind Link. ____ Sunrise came as a golden tunnel to a world of forever-light, that iris of fire so pretty in its mascara of pure light. He runs his hands through his dark, black hair, messing it up in a sexy way as he draws in a breath before speaking.
