It would explain why they need so many samples. They keep destroying them.”

The type old timey doctors took on house calls back in the day. “There should be some bandages and ointment and shit for your face in here. You can use my bathroom to clean up,” he said, handing me the bag and motioning to the bathroom door. “Cutter, what the fuck—”

Erik said. "Take the diadem and let's go to the extractor." Azazel asked Erik, who took the diadem and walked after him. The 'extractor' was a neighbouring piece of equipment. It's appearance was of two platforms linked by cables and tubes and some antennas like scanners pointing to the center of each platform. Azazel went directly behind the computer station of the extractor equipment and started to import the data from the scanner to feed the extractor. "Put the diadem in the bigger platform, then take one ball of glass from inside the cardboard box near the small platform and put it in it."

The teacher was momentarily taken aback. "Mr. Gan. Kindly read the next question." Yohan rolled his eyes. "What solution should you use to extract isobutyric acid from a solution of diethyl ether?" "Three 10 mL washes of water," Zea answered quickly once again. Selene stood up abruptly. "You're dead wrong. It's one 30 mL wash of hexane." She glared at her, accompanied by a mocking smirk.

The room was dim, with a single candle illuminating the best it could, and I saw something poking out from the layers of blue and white. I strode up to it cautiously and touched it, only for it to crinkle against my fingers and fall to the floor. It all came back to me now and I picked it up, my hands shaking, my nose filled with the smell of his perfume that seemed to come from the paper. “I will read it and throw it out,” I said under my breath, slowly unfolding the crisp quarters to see a contract. “Proposal for a Dominant and Submissive Relationship?” The candle flickered and I moved closer to the golden glow to see the letters better. Dominant? Submissive? Hard limits? Soft Limits?
