Slowly…she turned around to face the mighty beast in front of her - The beast roared, making Alisson close her eyes and her hair ponytail shoot backward. The beast with six eyes - three vertically arranged on each side, between the cat-like nose, and teeth like a black panther. "Oooh my heaven," she parted her lips in sight of the beast in front of her. "Even my wolf form can't beat this." She said to herself. How she is not peeping on her clothes is something she'll have to think about if she makes it. The beast smelt her, then turned around, and walked away. Alisson sighed.

He had beautiful golden-brown eyes and I couldn't look away! The sorrowful orbs drew me in, and I was unable to understand why. The boy fidgeted but held my gaze nonetheless. He tilted his head quizzically, and I averted my eyes, not wishing to draw unnecessary attention. Once the briefing was over, I walked back to my office, but couldn't get that scared boy out of my mind. To satisfy my curiosity, I requested files of the new batch and skimmed through until I found his thanks to the mug shot.

Her eyes opened and she looked up into the Beast's face. He watched her eyes blink and try to focus. "Wha--?" She muttered in confusion. "You blacked out, Ma'am." She kept blinking rapidly and he suddenly realized that one of her eyes was brown while the other was hazel…She'd lost a contact. Ashleigh sat up. Three men were hovering over her and she felt instantly foolish. She'd fainted! She tried to stand and the man in black kept a hold of her arm. "Careful Ma'am. You're not ready to stand up yet."

Beneath the ink of the raven, the damn cursed mark pulsed with a violent, waking burn I hadn't felt in thirteen long years. My vision blurred. Then I looked at the photo. Staring back at me were the familiar, cold gray eyes of the monster who had haunted my every waking moment for thirteen years.
