I’ve always preferred taking Restoril as they not only help to fall asleep but also stay in the same state for as long as it is required. I swallowed a pill without any water. Curled in Colton’s arms in bed, my head laid on his chest as I listen to that steady rhythm of his heartbeat, I doze in and out of peaceful and contented slumber. Something keeps waking me when I start to fall deeply, and I can’t seem to put my finger on it. Like a dream or a feeling that’s just out of sight and seems to jump in to haul me back whenever my consciousness drifts away. An unease or a threatening nightmare maybe, it’s definitely a sense of unease and try as I might, I can’t seem to fall into blissful darkness for any length of time. It’s almost dawn and I have barely dozed for more than twenty-minute slots at a time. I’m frustrated and exhausted, yet I can’t seem to rest.

That thought made something in my chest tighten. I closed my eyes, hoping to fall asleep too, but sleep did not come for me, not even close. Having her this close…...feeling the warmth of her body against mine…the softness, the quiet breaths brushing against my chest…It was driving me insane. I shut my eyes, trying to steady myself. Control. I needed control. I carefully loosened my hold, making sure not to wake her, she stirred slightly, then settled again. Still asleep. I got up quietly and walked into the bathroom.

I felt my eyelids become heavy and slowly a deep slumber was taking over me, but I don't want to sleep, I tried my hardest to try to stay conscious. Suddenly I felt like a puppet, like a rag doll, My body moved on its own, or was being controlled by someone, I was standing up, but it wasn't me who was doing it, my lips and tongue moved, I was speaking yet had no idea what the hell I was saying... I couldn't hear much either ...Stop!!.I can't stand ..it hurt...whoever you are put me down ...please ...I don't want to stand....after a few minutes I finally fell back down with a thud ..again I was paralyzed

It filled the silence, pushed back the intrusive thoughts, and created a barrier between me and the memories that haunted me. I closed my eyes again, focusing on the sound, letting it wash over me. The static hummed, a constant, unwavering presence. Slowly, gradually, the tension began to ease. My breathing slowed, my muscles relaxed, and the images began to fade. The chaos in my mind quieted, replaced by the steady, soothing sound. And then, finally, I drifted off to sleep.

He said softly, "I want to sleep." Then, he closed his eyes. His breathing began to turn slow. He'd fallen asleep already? Larissa was shocked at how quickly he fell asleep. The country had 300 million young people with sleeping disorders. Ross' ability to fall asleep quickly would've made insomniacs so envious. Larissa changed her posture and piggy-backed Ross instead. She hailed a cab and checked in at a random hotel. Larissa wasn't sure if she sensed things correctly. But she felt like someone had been watching them this entire time.

Luckily, I have a lot of self-control. I down my Bourbon and set the glass on the table. I discard of my clothes and get into bed. Today was bad. Tomorrow will be worse. I usually fall asleep instantly. I usually have no worries. Tonight, a red-haired girl with big green eyes bothers me. Her lily-white skin and the few soft freckles on her nose, they bother me too. I swear under my breath and put some more effort into falling asleep. * * * * *

I was floating and falling. Ugh! Not again. I had been having the same dream every other night now and it was becoming a nuisance because in the end, I always woke up in the middle of the night after experiencing a terrible headache and then, I would have trouble going back to sleep again. It was the same every time. Falling and floating. Not being able to feel anything at all. Being surrounded by darkness. No, not darkness. Blackness. Utter and complete blackness.

I stroke his face to help calm him, but it doesn't help. I finally manage to soothe him and he's just twitching here and there. My lids are growing heavy and I can't keep them open any longer. I'll close them for a bit, I think to myself. However, I close them and fall into a deep sleep instantly.

I nodded my head at him to continue. "You need to lay down and make yourself sleep, once you do you will be in a random dream." "I'm not tired. There's no way that I'll be able to fall asleep."
