He crashed into it, knocking both of them off the cliff. I gasped in shock. I rushed to the edge of the cliff and when I stared down, my heart tumbled to my stomach. All I saw was the rough, rocky plains below, hundreds of huge boulders that could have killed Malric from the massive fall. Ginger completely lost it, purring sadly, slithering uncomfortably and squirming with the agony of potentially losing Malric.

Samuel placed me behind him, his arms wide open to protect me. Numerous enemies were lined up before us. There’s no escape for us. But luckily, I managed to grab onto a vine that was attached to a huge tree, and I was able to hide behind its leaves.
